Highly recommended Alpaca Farm in PEI! Especially when you need a break in seeing the ocean, beaches and lobsters everywhere on the island. We were accompanied by friendly staffs in the store and Triton gave us an informative tour with feeding of the very handsome Lama in the farm. We concluded with thank you greetings from the owner, Janet and don’t forget to get one of the Lovely Lama toys! The fleece is so soft that not many places would have this kind of high quality toys! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

We were so happy to have made a visit to this lovely Alpaca farm. It was the last tour of the season so we were thankful we made it, especially after the storm. Janet cares so deeply for these animals and it shows! We learned a lot! It was almost a 2 hour tour but very informative and enjoyable. My husband and I each purchased a pair of very cozy alpaca socks from her shop and we love them.

Awesome place! If you're anywhere close to here, or traveling through, it's a must visit. Janet is great and the animals are obviously cared for well. Great way to spend an hour and a half, and a good place to buy some alpaca wool products as well.

Had a great time learning about alpacas. Very friendly and informative. The spinning lesson was great! It's amazing how their coats become yarn. A definite must visit.

Awesome spot! The owner gave us an in-depth tour of how she raised the Alpacas (and the one llama!) on the farm. She has over 30 alpacas on the property, will take you into their pens to take a closer look at them and you’ll even be able to feed the llama at the end. You can tell the owner Janet is really passionate about what she does and is very knowledgeable. Cute gift shop too. Definitely a must see in PEI!

A wonderful spot to take a tour of. They should be booked ahead of time, so be sure to do that if you go.I love that the tours are all different and not a set speech- You're allowed to ask questions and conversation can just happen naturally.Lots of babies and pregnant Alapacas during our visit! We learned lots of about the alpacas, their attitudes, how to treat them, and the dyeing of their wool. The shop is definitely worth stopping into, with lots of items to choose from.I would definitely go back, and make it part of my trek in that area!

This was the start and a major highlight to my wife (Maria) and I's vacation trip to PEI. We had our pictures taken with the resident guard llama Griswold and got to feed him some apples. At the end of the tour, Janet showed us how she spins the fibre and answered all of our questions. She even told us about the different qualities of fibre, how they differ. Definitely recommend anyone coming to PEI for vacation, like we did, or in general to book an appointment for this very informative and fun experience!

One of the highlights for us during our vacation on PEI. Informative and interesting. Janet is very kind and very knowledgeable. A great storyteller, too. One can tell she loves what she does and cares deeply about her fleece-y friends. :) The store is worth checking out as well.

I wanted to learn more about the locals and farmers on the island and came across Green Gables Alpacas. Janet was dealing with a sick animal the day we visited and she soldiered on. Right from the moment I entered to the time I left her passion for all the animals on the farm shone through every word she said. Extremely knowledgeable in all things alpacas!I had a farm tour where we learned all about the alpacas, and got to ask unlimited questions about the land, the animals and more. We were shown the results of sheering, a spin demonstration and of course met and hang out with Grizwold the llama! She has a cute little shop with yarns, hats, mitts, and more. Her story on starting the farm is one that should be acknowledged, praised and told. Absolutely recommend this sweet spot to really connect with the hard working people of PEI.
