House of Moda

This local business isn’t very size inclusive. When you go to order online or browse in-store they only carry XS-M. And when you ask if they have L-2XL they say can “Special order it” but it may take some time to come in and when you also ask why they don’t stock these sizes they mention it takes longer for them to sell it. Sizing inclusivity is extremely important for a lot of different reasons, but it seems they only cater to petite sizes and I feel as if this is something that should be addressed publicly and rectified.

One of my all-time favourite local businesses. Beautiful, unique pieces in great quality. Excellent customer service and genuine, friendly owner/staff.

Such a cute place! The service was so good that I found exactly what I was looking for within minutes. If you want a statement piece or are just looking for a little shine to brighten up an outfit, this is the place. Will def be back!

I was so excited to order from House of Moda but after my experience I would never again. I payed for shipping (express) and it took a longer time then payed for I'm pretty sure. When I received my piece of jewelry I was so excited but then a week later after a couple of wears it broke. I contacted the owner and she asked for me to send it back and I didn't want to spend more money on shipping because i already had payed for express the first time, so it was sent through mail. Unfortunately it got lost I suspect because they never received it. I don't think customer service is very important to the owner at all. I spent 170$ roughly for a quality piece of jewelry that broke with in a week and she seems not willing to compensate for anything. It's niether or our faults about mail getting lost, but the jewelry is clearly not quality. Bad customer service is a huge turn off. Very unfortunate.

Beautiful well designed store with amazing customer service! I was able to get exactly what I was looking for.I found it a little hard to find, you have to go inside the Boyle building then go to the second floor to find it for anyone curious. It was well worth the extra couple minutes it took to find the place. Will be back!

I get soooo many compliments on my jewelry everywhere I go. The team is excellent and the shop is gorgeous. Her close attention to details and high fashionable pieces is a work of art. You will not be disappointed

Over the years I’ve bought a lot for friends, girlfriends, family. Every time I go the staff has been amazing and the jewelry and clothes have been exceptional.

The owner of House of Moda is one of the rudest most ignorant ppl I’ve come across. The House of Moda Instagram account is commenting all over news stories in Ontario, calling for for-profit-healthcare in Ontario - even tho they’re clearly in NS - the point is, whoever is controlling this account not only doesn’t understand what it means to be Canadian - they are incredibly rude and disrespectful to the hundreds of ppl pleading for universal healthcare. Do not shop here if you care where your money goes it’s not going to a good place.

A lovely local shop that I always recommend to friends & family! The owner as well as her staff are super personable and very passionate about their products! They’re all very knowledgeable, kind, and willing to help any way that they can so the customer gets exactly what they need! 10/10 experience every time
