I cant say enough how excellent this service is!! I had Ed come out and clean and inspect my chimney and fireplace. It was so perfect, not one ash anywhere when he was done. He replaced my Chimney Cap, cleaned and inspected. Amazing and HIGHLY recommended!

I was looking for a chimney inspection for rural Manitoba and reached out to one of their employees, Jeff Warkentin who was listed as a WETT inspector. He has been incredibly helpful in looking at pictures of my fireplace and chimney and giving an honest professional opinion. All on his own time. He gave me a number of options I could consider, from demolishing the existing stonework and chimney, to a total new fireplace installation. His advice saved me the cost of having them out from the city only to be told the chimney is not safe to use.

Excellent company to work with. I had my fireplace mantle and facade removed and then walled up. I also need a chimney liner, flash pan and rain guard replaced. I was confident in their assessments at each stage as they have a very reasonable approach to potential unknown work. Very tidy, professional, and reasonable cost estimates.

Contacted them in the end of Nov. for an insurance inspection. Earliest date was January 10 which I accpted. The day before the inspection was to be done I was contacted about rescheduling as they had an installation to do". Obviously it was a more lucrative job and I was shoved aside. I did not reschedule with this irresponsible outfit."

We performed an extensive search for a company to repair our chimney and luckily we came across A1 Chimney. The manner is which you can reach them is great, whether by phone or email...they were very responsive. They came out, performed a thorough inspection, provided a solid estimate, scheduled the job and completed it in a timely manner. Their online scheduling calendar is awesome. I would definitely recommend Ed and his team.
