I just had a stroll here couple months ago and it was cool. There was a cool-designed stairs. Great for photoshoot. There's also a bridge that has a viewdeck. And the funicular was a fun to ride, especially when you're tired from walking up/down the stairs. The view is amazing!

The funicular was an unexpectedly great adventure for my family and I. My elderly mom and uncle enjoyed not having to walk up and down the stairs! There's a second elevator to get down to the river level. There is a bridge with a walkway and a lookout over the river. You can see many bridges and beautiful views from the promenade bridge.

It had a nice view of the river. There was no signing so it was hard to get there. It was dirty and had some garbage inside the funicular cabin. The place looked a bit careless and in need of some maintenance.

Pretty sweet look out and a cool ride up the hill in the elevator. Other than the paramedics helping a poor women who appeared to have overdosed and the wildfires in the distance, it was a great place to watch the world burn.

Situated near the river valley, it has a great view of the river. The place itself was modernistic in design, the stairs are a pain to go up, but they also work as a seat for you if you need a rest. In addition, they have a large glass elevator that can take you down to make the place more accessible to people. There are also trails for both walking and biking scattered around the area. The other good feature of the site is the lookout that overlooks the river, and you can see one of the Ferry terminals. Overall, it's a great place if you are planning to walk near the river and you want to have a quick escape from the bustling downtown area

Free funicular right in the heart of Edmonton. Ride is short and slow but the views are great along the ride and even better at the top.

Very beautiful place to visit in Edmonton. It's stroller friendly and a great place for a quick stop if you have some minutes. Also has some hiking trails that i didnt get to explore:). Has lovely photo spotsif that's a thing for you:)
