Would not recommend this location. The day we purchased our wedding rings the ladies were so helpful….. both times I’ve come back for resizing or warranty follow ups, I’ve been talked down to and had terrible experiences. Zero customer service at this location

I bought a bracelet for my fiance 2 years ago, it broke back around August for the first time. We took it in to get it fixed, they sent it away. A month or 2 later they phoned and said it was in and ready for pick up. We drove in from westlock to pick it up and they said they had no record of either of us In their system and they didn't know where the bracelet was. We left and came back a week later with the receipt and they suddenly had records of our information and had the bracelet, 3 hours later the bracelet broke in the same spot so we took it back again last month, they tried telling me it wouldn't be under warranty if we didn't give them the receipt from last time. even though we have lifetime warranty on it, they ended up sending it away again. Last week they phoned me saying it was ready so I drove in again for the 5th time from westlock and then I told the lady it was under either my fiances last name or mine, she did she couldn't find it and needed the receipt from when they sent it away even though I wasn't given one and was given a small card with the repair number on it and was told it's all I needed to bring, so I gave that but was told it i needed the receipt, the bracelet was eventually found under my name, shebjust didn't look under my name which is whatever she probably didn't hear me say it could be under mine. But it sure is nice having to drive in 6 times for 1 thing.

I went here today to look for a nice gold ring for my lovely niece. They only have 10 Karat rings and a standard size mostly (7.5) but it was interesting how they deal with clients!They looked at us as if we were some kind of THIEVES !No wonder they have this many BAD REVIEWS.We are very well off people and we don't walk around with our jewelry and in our fancy clothes. We are NOT paycheck-to-paycheck people at all. Indeed! We are very fortunate to have this kind of life.Anyways, we were looking for a 14K ring and much smaller size. Yes, someone mentioned the adjustment fee.... around 80 something and their protection plan"...they can offer but who would be interested in that if it is just a 10K ring? If you know gold and ring prices

Stay away from this location and all Michael hill products. There is not quality in there rings. Upon purchase my engagement ring diamond was loose, the replaced the claws, then lost my paperwork. Now my diamond fell out and one of the claws fell off as well and they are saying it’s not covered in their lifetime warranty. If you want a good lifetime quality ring don’t buy from Michaels.

While in the city for a weekend from the Northwest Territories, I was looking for somewhere that could resize my engagement ring. Michael Hill was the third place I went and they couldn't help me with the resizing, but Jen (or Jenn lol) made it a personal goal to find somewhere that could help me ASAP. She was a customer service rockstar and her help was above and beyond - especially after being rudely dismissed from three other jewelry stores. 10/10 service- would recommend. She called a place for me, I went there and they had my ring resized within the hour.Thank you Jen and team at Michael Hill!

Do NOT go here absolutely horrible place to buy things from, purchased a ring and when we returned (under 30 days) to get it sized they tried to charge us $85 +tax to get it sized. Then said we should have paid for a protection plan we weren’t even offered, when we said we didnt get offered a protection plan she proceeded to tell us everybody is offered a protection plan. The ring we bought is also tarnishing already they could fix that with a protection plan. I have never been more dissatisfied in a jewelry store and would never recommend this place to anybody. Absolute rip off, go anywhere but here!

To say that I am disappointed in this store is an understatement. We were lied to by their salesperson to get a sale. We were told the piece Cathy bought for me was exchangeable, or resizable if we sent it to Australia.It was a bold faced lie from the salesperson. In their defence, she no longer works there. But the rest is on the store.I tried 3 times to go to the store. They were always closed. When I finally found someone working in the store, I was given the run around. Wear a silicon mold". "We can't resize it." "Maybe try another store? but we won't call them." "I might get something in on Tuesday. Try back then."When I forced the issue

The Manager MARIANNA is so miserable she does a good job at making people feel beneath her like they can’t afford higher priced items. Don’t judge a person by how they look and assume what they can or cannot afford. I been dealing with Michael Hill for all my jewelry purchases and this was my first time coming to this location. I came in to get a diamond replaced on my ring and I was so uncomfortable I went back to get it even after signing the paperwork. Only reason this place even gets 2 stars is because of one of the sales associates Jen. One of the sweetest individuals I have ever gotten the pleasure to meet. If you do plan on going here ask for Jen and I swear it will make your visit better.

I purchased over 300 dollars in gifts in one day. A bracelet I got my daughter was on sale. As soon as she put it on a part of it came apart. I took it in for repair. I was never asked to return it or exchange it. I was charged 68 dollars just for a repair that I didn’t own for 24 hours. The staff are friendly enough that’s not their policy but the store and the manager it’s how much money they can save and line their own pocket. You just lost a customer and I have lots of family.
