Hobby Sense

There are brick and mortar hobby shops in Canada that can still outperform all of the out of country online providers. Hobby Sense is the best, in my opinion for what matters most. Selection, price, service, trust and communication. My online order consisting of four model kits and jars of paint was well packaged and delivered to me in Ontario faster and for much less than any out of country source.

I had been hunting the internet for a 1/72 model of the B24 Liberator Bomber that was reasonably priced and found one at HOBBY SENSE. Having ordered from other sites that have free shipping I found out that HOBBY SENSE also had free shipping for $400 or more. At first, I thought this was a lot, but I had a look through their products to see if there was anything else, I might like to get that was on my shopping list. Well, it didn’t take long to find enough items from my list to add up to the $400. After thinking about it for a short time I decided to go ahead and buy them. This is a good Canadian Hobby company. I would like to see them lower their free shipping closer to that of other online stores of $100. This would make me think more about visiting and buying from them more in the future. My order was shipped fast and was excellently packaged and arrived undamaged. They are still in my bookmark!

Fantastic brick and mortar store, not much of these around these days. The shop is loaded to the rafters with products ( it is literally stocked to the roof). If you like to make models of cars, trucks, planes, ships, tanks, anything, this is the place to come to. They also have a huge selection of model paints from most manufacturers as well as all the accessories. They have a nice range of scratch building supplies as well and are starting to stock scenery products from Woodland Scenics. This is definitely your one stop hobby shop, the best around. They also provide online shopping and delivery and curbside pickup.

An excellent company focused on customer service. Good communication with their customers and fast delivery, also the prices are reasonable.I’ve now used Hobby Sense for a number of purchases and been completely satisfied with the service.

By far the best hobby store I've ever been to. There's several hundred model kits (cars, armor, aircraft, naval, sci-fi, etc. etc.) and a vast variety of modelling supplies available in store for all experience levels. They have pretty well anything you want or need for creating your own dioramas . . . I saw a 1/35 scale model kit of vodka bottles and crates! Igor and his team are pros that are very friendly and helpful, and they've given tips/advice to modellers of all experience levels.

Fantastic store for hobby supplies. Wide range of paint. This store probably has the greatest selection of paint in the city. If you are looking for a tool or paint they probably have it. Pro tip. Ask about their rewards program. Save me a ton of cash on my Iwata air compressor. Plus one of the employees is an air brush EXPERT!

The widest assortment of plastic model kits I've ever come across in Winnipeg, the owner Mr.Igor treats customers like family and will listen to your needs and will even order in custom hobby supplies. A great edition to St. Vital and most of all Winnipeg. Prices are better than online! Check him out!
