Where do I start. Great staff, clean accommodations. Shirley and Stephen were so welcoming. But the food was the highlight. Best seafood chowder by far of our many chowders and the halibut dinner was delish. Do not miss this place.

This motel is beyond my expectation as a transit hotel. Friendly people, fair price, clean, spacious and the two doors, one of then is directly facing the parking lot so its easier to get things from the car. Great place to stay around Gross Morne/ Viking Trail area

Sea Echo Motel
We arrived with the Motorhome and they said take anyone of their RV sites. Then we went and had supper at the restrauent. The fisher chowder was excellent. Then after going for a walk , we came back to their lounge to watch the Stanley cup playoffs (4th game between Edmonton & Colorado)

Cute, rustic cabin. Nice and cozy, bed was pretty comfortable. Bathroom and bedrooms were pretty clean but kitchen was kinda grubby. The staff were really nice though and the location is central. I enjoyed my visit.

For a remote fishing community, this motel is pretty upscale. The rooms are huge, Beds were comfortable enough, internet was sketchy at times but at least it was available. There's an attached bar and restaurant for food. You get a breakfast coupon" for your stay. It's centrally located to the handful of businesses and trails that make up the town. The staff was super friendly. It's surprisingly cheaper than one would expect for a town with few non RV sleeping options."

Stayed here for one night while in Port au Choix. This is a large one story building with many rooms, a restaurant and a bar.When we first got here, it seemed like a mediocre motel. Nothing special, just someplace for working people to stay in between jobs.However, this place turned out to be a really good time. After sitting a the bar for the while talking to the bartender and the owner, the place began to fill up with people. It was a local talent" night

I have never even seen the hotel before, so I’m only going to rate the restaurant:There doesn’t seem to be that much of a wide selection, and certain items are better than others, but I can say with 100% certainty that THE CALAMARI is always a great choice if you don’t know what to get. The worst experience I’ve ever had was when a new/inexperienced employee made cod tongues for us and they were very gross and slimy (not like they should be) - we couldn’t eat them. But all in all, the food is great and I recommend it.

It was raining, it was 5C, the wind came at you from every direction.The RV hookups at a motel? I had never seen that! What a great idea. They have everything here, a restaurant, a lounge, rooms etc.Super friendly staff.

Sea Echo Motel
The hotel is showing its age, but it is cute and in an excellent scenic location. The staff are very nice and do their best to ensure you're satisfied with the stay. The location is excellent if you are heading from Port-aux-Basques to areas such as St. Anthony and are looking for a stopover for the night. Just keep in mind that dining options at the hotel and in the area are rather limited.
