Visited this store on Saturday in search for shower caps that are wide enough to fit someone wearing extensions.While browsing, I noticed some shower caps that were not in their packaging, so I had a look at those so I can see how wide they were.Now the rude lady that worked there, approached me and said if I open it

I love mama's so much! Every time I see her she make a point to acknowledge me. I have been shopping at her stores for about 8 years if not more. I've never once had a problem with any of the staff there at all! They have always helped me and answered any of my questions.Thanks mama for supplying me my hair and beauty needs over the years!Edit: it has been awhile since I've been to this location and boy things sure have changed. I needed some new wigs, and ended up buying two while there.The lady that was there, was not very friendly. Almost seemed bothered that she had to help me, and they didn't have enough staff to help with the volume of people. They need to hire people friendly oriented people. I'll still come here because I've been coming here since mama used to be here often and they always have what I want, but the customer service needs to improve a lot. So for this reason I've changed my 5 stars to 3, strictly because of customer service.

I enter the store with passion because of seeing everything I wanted available. And I had the chock of my life, when I asked one of the workers if they do Jerry Carlyle relaxing hair style, the lady was very polite, and guided me to another one, who looked very mature in her 45s or 50s, but very irresponsible, impatient, arrogant and mean and inexperienced Worker who luck customer service experience. She approached me saying we don't know because the person who does that isn't here" and went on saying "why do someone ask for relaxing when doesn't even have hair " simply because I had short hair

I called her and told her I will be there at 7:00 i was late one minute she was still there and she couldn’t let me in what a rude and disrespectful she is I will never go there again

Plenty of options in this shop. My only recommendation is maybe switching the lay out of the shop a bit. Finding a way to create a little more space will help keep the customer flow smooth! Will be back!

Love this store. The staff are always nice and helpful when I have questions, which I almost always do. Also their prices are always the best. Been going here for years and everytime it's always the best service and prices on great products!! I highly recommend for your hair care product needs especially with all the organic options that are parabin and sulfate free.

Honestly the best experience I've had in a hair store. All staff were polite and very helpful. The one lady went out of her way to find what we were looking for. Thank you for all your help today. Visited Aug 20/22 at 1pm

All braiding and hair needs and supply its in this one place...I was amazed and mouth open after I step in for the first time, the products I found are simply what I have been looking for. Don't hesitate to check it out.

Hey Everyone . I just want to say that, I love going to this place. The reason is they've variety's of different of products. Prices are very reasonable. Which always is a plus...

People who work here are ridiculous and rude. I bought 2 dsr creams there. Once k got home and opened one of the bottles the cream was brown and had a foul smell. So obviously i open the other one to be safe. The second one was white and the seemed good. I return to the store to see if i can exchange the cream. The male worker told me it was oxidization or whatever nonsense he was saying. This man refused to take the cream back and asked me to contact the producer. How dumb is that. I asked him if he would be safe using something like that! He said yes. Shocking. All i wanted was an exchange but they wouldn’t exchange that because the seal was broken they cannot resell it, why would you sell something that is obviously defective. Anyways i ended up leaving and left the cream with them as well. Terrible customer service and condescending staff. I will gladly take my business elsewhere. Do better mama Afro
