Luxury Adora Nails Studio

I’ve been a loyal customer to Adora for a year now, I called in and made an appointment specifically asking if they could do both my nails and pedicure at the same time as I’m a busy mom. They said yes. When I arrived they started my pedicure right away, I said directly to the lady doing my pedicure that I wasn’t going to have enough time to get my nails done if they didn’t start she just ignored that. Finally, a lady came over and I told her I have to leave here at this specific time so if you can do my nails and finish by that point, then you can start my nails. She said yes but she could do that so I let her start but maybe that was my bad I should not have. She proceeded and it was now 6 minutes past the time I should have left to get to my appointment I told her I need to leave right now and she had only just put some acrylic on my left hand only I told her I will have to come back! When I got to the front I told the lady that I’d pay for my pedicure and I’ll be back as soon as my appointment was done, she insisted I paid for my nails, I wish I had taken a picture. Again I’m a LOYAL customer and would’ve had to come back. I did go back and have to say my pedicure looks awful, it look like I’ve had it for 6 weeks already and I painted my own toes, I’m so so disappointed, I will literally never go back.I’d highly advise not to also unless you want to be treated like every other random off the block instead of someone who comes every 2-3 weeks and brings in family and friends from all over to this business.Don’t do it, I won’t ever again

Paula has been doing my nails over 20 years. I live in North Shore and drive over 100km both ways to get my nails done by Paula. I think that says a lot that I am willing to drive to Langley for my nails. She is extremely good at what she does and makes sure you are satisfied with her work. Paula exceeds my expectations every time she does my nails. Trust me, Paula is the only one!

I have been visiting this nail studio for roughly 6-7 months and I must admit the ladies are very kind and professional. I typically get a layer of acrylic (as I have super weak nails) with gel polish on top or the colored acrylic options they have available there. I do notice that my cuticles are always rough however I learnt that it's because I don't ask for a cuticle trim (which isn't included I guess in a full set of acrylics) so recently i started asking for cuticle trims. The nails are short, just how I like them with work, however my only qualm is I wish they'd prep the nail, cuticle push back and trim and all prior to laying down the acrylic to maximize the nail surface, however the 'cleaning' or manicure was completed after my nails were filled, filed and shaped and polished which to me just felt odd. It looks fine enough, however I just felt if the cuticles were pushed back and trimmed prior to the acrylic being applied they'd look nice and clean and a longer nail bed would be visible. I think it to be similar to painting, you clean the area prior to painting and once cleaned, sanded and edged you roll on paint, but at the end of the day Im not a nail tech. However, the ladies always do a great job, Paula is always the one who greets me and I typically go to Wendy or Lisa who are both lovely. They remember simple details about me such as my kids and where I work and chat with me which makes me feel appreciated. I'll continue visiting the ladies simply for their respectful service which is rare these days. Thank you Luxury Adora for my pleasant experiences.

Great experience every time! Very clean and professional studio. Owner Tina is super fast and does quality work. Recently Wendy did my nails and is an excellent nail artist. They've always happily accommodated my schedule and fit me in last minute or close to closing time.

Gel application was super sloppy, so the technician kept going back and filing, then adding more topcoats. She painted my cuticles (which weren't trimmed properly) and left excess skin that resulted in a hangnail. Because of all of the additional topcoats, I was left with air bubbles and indentations on 3 of my nails. Just a total mess.I told the woman at the counter that I wasn't impressed. She proceeded to charge me the full price anyway.It's now two days after my manicure, and predictably (with all of the filing and extra top coats), the polish has completely lifted off of two of my nails.Worst manicure experience of my life.

Linh did an amazing job!!She was careful, meticulous and even though I struggled to describe what I wanted she totally understood!

Paula did an awesome job with my birthday manicure. I came in with some photo inspo and she nailed it.. Pun intended. She paid attention to detail the nails were all the perfect length and shape. I've been going here for a while for pedicures and always am happy with the results but this was my first acrylic set here and I will definitely be coming back

I ended up leaving upset. I was getting my acrylics filled I asked for med coffin and ended up with square short ones because the lady took over a hour shaping them kept screwing up. In the middle of shaping them she dremmelled through the top of my nail to wear it was sore and burning. Also as she filled so much on side of mail it made my side of finger raw. I asked for another lady to continue because I couldn’t handle the pain, the inaccuracy and how long it was taking. I had a picture for reference and it was nothing like it. The Second Lady did a bit better but still nothing like I wanted. It was basic nail set nothing fancy. I will never go hear again!

Ask for Paula! I highly recommend her you will not be disappointed. She killed it on the nails. I have been coming to this place for a while now and haven't found anyone that I liked until now. Paula is so friendly, pays attention to details, great energy. I found a picture online that I wanted to do and she made my nails look the same!! I am so happy with how it turned out. Paula will be my go to person when I get my nails done. Please request her and thank me later.
