Tucked in front of the old Hopitale Générale is the cemetery that contains the final resting place of. General Louis Joseph de Montcalm, the commander of the French troops in the battle of the Plaines of Abraham. He is buried in the close proximity of the mass grave that contains the remains of many soldiers, both French and British who died during the battle or shortly after from their wounds. A moving sculpture of two men in strife stands at the end of the pit. A must for those who are interested in the the battle for Québec of 1759.

C'est un cimetière historique où la plupart des soldats, officiers, incluant le général Montcalm ont été inhumés, tant Anglais que Français, suite à la bataille des plaines d'Abraham en 1759, à Québec. Tous les blessés ont eu les bons soins des religieuses Augustines de l'hôpital général de Québec et de l'hôtel-Dieu de Québec.

Not bad, but typical touristic restaurant. Food is acceptable, prices are higher than food would worth outside of tourist zone. Museum is very small. Waterfall itself remains the biggest attraction

A very peaceful and quiet place to reflect. It is the final resting place of over 1000 soldiers from the war of the late 1700s.
