Really unique looking inside. The white meat in the fried chicken was a little dry, but everything else tasted great.

Came to Hanjan to celebrate a friend’s Birthday, and it was honestly a great experience!! The food was delicious, and the staff were so kind! Especially our server Matt, he had such a positive attitude and made our dinner at Hanjan a better experience.

My recent dining experience at Hanjan's South location was pleasant. As soon as we entered, we were welcomed and seated within a few minutes into the tastefully patio-like decorated ambiance, with string lights and dimmed lighting.The menu was extensive, with a variety of vegetarian options available that were just as tasty as the non-vegetarian ones (Look at the online menu for vegan options!). Personally, I would recommend their spicy rice cake, which consisted of chewy rice cakes and fish tofu. The crispy tofu with soy-ginger sauce is also a must-try option on their vegan online menu.I also ordered a London fog tea; it was fragrant and soothing with the perfect blend of Earl Grey tea, vanilla, and steamed milk. I couldn't go without trying their mango bingsu. It comes with a copious amount of sweet and juicy mangoes, stacked over a bed of shaved ice and topped with condensed milk. It's perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. The only downside of my experience was that at times I felt rushed by the service merely from the number of times the waister/waitresses visited my table.

The ambiance is great, the servers were friendly. Beef bulgogi was good, and as per my son, the rice is great! Until they served us our most awaited fried chicken, only to find out it was partially cooked. I think it's a cardinal rule to all restaurants to make sure the chicken is well cooked to prevent spread of diseases such as Salmonella. I was surprised and disappointed that they forgot about this. This is just a big no.This happened during Mother's Day dinner, and it seems like they weren't prepared enough to how busy it will get. They should have anticipated it and not compromise the quality and safety of the food they serve.

Beautiful spot with delicious food. Not only does the place look nice but the food is super tasty and delicious! Staff were friendly and ready to server at a moments notice! Great customer service! One of the best food I’ve tasted and will definitely come back!

Found this place by accident. Popped in for dinner with a friend. Loved the potato croquettes! Lovely flavour with an excellent sauce. I had the fried chicken, original, too much for one person to eat. It was super crispy and while the flavour was nice it needed a bit of salt. The service was excellent. Not sure what is with the atmosphere… inside umbrellas made no sense to me.

Visit: April 2023Visited Hanjan for a party. The staff was quick and accommodating. The restaurant is also very nice and has great vibes, with nice decor that is very comforting.Shared a lot of food between 3 of us:- Kimchi Fried Rice is pretty standard, good flavour. Not a ton of meat, but price wise it's pretty decent- Bulgogi Fries are amazing. Fries are very fresh, the sauce has good depth, and pairs well with the meat. Highly recommend this as a appetizer- Grilled Pork Belly was good as well. When it comes to pork belly, this is one of the better places I've had it. The pieces are marinated and grilled well. There's a good amount there as well for the price (got the full size order)- They provide Sides as well which include kimchi, bean sprouts, pickled radish, and a mashed potato. These pair well with some of the dishes- Bulgogi Udon is pretty standard too like the kimchi fried rice, nothing too special here. But the noodles are cooked well and are flavourful with hints of beef- Army Stew (budae jjigae). I love army stew, and this one is pretty good as well. They include instant noodles which is a nice touch. Good amount of meat in the mix too, but wish there was more tofu- Cheese Corn was alright. For some reason I tasted a bit of Mexican spices/flavours in there which threw me off a little- Tequila shots (patron) was surprisingly well priced in restsurant/bar standards at $4 a shot. Was smooth going down tooOverall everything above split between 3 people was about $48 before tip, which is pretty good considering what we got.The prices here are a bit higher than other Korean restaurants I've been to, but is still quite good in general, and I find myself coming back from time to time

Ordered take out, first time. Ever since moving from Toronto. This has got to be my first time experiencing good Korean food. Thank you for the delicious food. Will def order again soon.

Loved the vibes, the servers were super fast and so nice and all the food we tried was amazing! Plus pretty reasonably priced, we tried several dishes and dessert and were more than full and it came to like $33/person. Will definitely be back!!!
