This is CAMPGROUND in downtown Saint John NB so there is alot of city noise. Sites are varied , washrooms just had makeovers and are very clean and fresh. This is site 105 for trailers and RVs

I would not stay here again & wouldn’t have this time if I had known that they’ve had a major problem with nearby homeless people stealing bicycles from campers. The police officer I spoke with says it’s been happening for a year! We stayed 6 nights & were never told until the last night. It was too late. The wheels & gear mechanism had been stolen from one of our 2 bikes. Both bikes were locked on the bike rack on our motorhome. The staff member we spoke with said they “try” to tell everyone at check in & offer a locked building for campers to put their bikes in. We were not told about the problem or offered a place to secure our bikes until it was too late. How hard can it be to inform every camper at check in?? This was our 1st stop on a 6 week trip & now my husband has no bike. We were given an estimate of $300 to fix it. I will say all staff were very nice & helpful in other ways. They have security that makes rounds at night, but apparently the thieves have no trouble stealing bikes in between rounds. The showers were OK. The actual sites were not great - worse than what we’re used to & no TV stations with our RV antenna that is usually quite good.

We wanted a place to stay that was in Saint John so that we were able to enjoy the downtown nightlife. This RV park is right off the downtown across the highway. The location is as people say, however, depending on what spot you pick? You'll be just fine. The ones lower down close to the main gates are quieter but less privacy. The ones higher up the hill in the green space are more private but back onto both the highway AND the rail yard. It is loud. We were originally up here, and we moved because it was loud. There is laundry and washrooms on site with free showers. When we walked into the bathrooms? The outside did not match the inside. They must have redone them newly because they are beautiful! The showers are all brand new, with wood that smells heavenly when it gets wet. The only downside is that there's no shelf to put your things on in the stall. We didn't have any problems with transients, although there was signage everywhere, not to leave your things unlocked. Thankfully we did not have that problem. There is a nice lake you can walk around there where you can rent kayaks, paddle boards and things of the sort as well as a teahouse. If you need to stay in Saint John this place is definitely adequate but will not be the off grid camping trip you might be looking for.

This place is a gravel parking lot, so bad we paid for three nights but left after one night. Trash in camp site on arrival, grass touching bottom of picnic table , water unsafe to use. Place should be condemned.

Went there overnight because we took the ferry early in St John the next morning. Didn’t expect much, but we had a very positive experience at this campground. It was very green and beautiful for tent camping. The sites were quite secluded and far from one another, and it was quiet at night. Easy with our one year old. We would not make a detour to go there or camp many nights, but it was perfect for an overnight stay, and cheap too.

Friendly staff. Very helpful in finding us a big, level site. Felt very safe. We were on the ridge with a view. Heard the trains and traffic, but not really that noisy to us. If that bothers you, it is much quieter down the lower part. 4 stars due to charge of $64 vs online quote for the site of $54. Also, only one of 3 washers working.

Overpriced gravel pit. The only good thing about this camp ground is the location. Close to walking trails in the park and easy access to downtown. Wifi is spotty, most sites do not have firepits. Does have a laundry and showers.

Nice Campground overlooking the City of Saint John. Usually has a breeze. There is traffic noise from the highway below but is not bad. Currently the fog is rolling in most evenings as the temps cool down. Facilities are kept nice and clean .

We were very happy to find this city park in St John. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Lots of sites including plenty of pull throughs with w/e or w/e/s. Sites in the flat part of the campground are gravel and level. Nice walking trails around the lake and beyond. We didn't use the bathroom / shower facilities but both were clean when i looked in. The laundry room was very nice and inexpensive. We'd come again if in the area.

When you pay 40% more than an average ( 76 cnd compare to 50-55 cnd) you expect to get at least the average. There was no wifi in my site ( I wonder if those who stay where there is communication pay more...)The gravel on site was not blananced so I needed to balance my RV.I could hardly attached the water tap and it was leaking around all night.I expected more....
