I’ve been taking singing lessons with Lizzie, (as an adult who has never done this before) and she is amazing. Makes me feel very comfortable even though I was really nervous and leaving my comfort zone, she is incredibly knowledgeable and talented! I love how she plays the piano for our lesson and makes it fun in little ways. I can tell she would be fantastic with the kids lessons too.

Agata has been teaching my daughters for the past year. Under her careful instruction they have flourished! Her passion for piano is contagious! Her lessons are engaging and they have both grown so much because of her.

My son has been taking piano lessons with Michelle Gregoire since fall 2019. He was 4 years when he first started taking piano lessons. He has been taking online lessons since the pandemic. Fall 2023, he will be taking in-person lessons with her.It's obvious that she cares about developing my son's love for music. When my son mentioned that he was nervous playing in front of an audience, she gave him tips on how to calm his nerves.Her lessons are well thought out, and it's obvious she's thought about her lesson plan in advance. She's able to challenge my son without discouraging him. She always asks my son whether he wants to participate in exams, recitals, and competitions.At the beginning of each lesson, she always asks my son what song my son thinks he needs the most help.. She also asks for his input on what songs he'd like to learn.She has the ability to explain concepts in a way he's able to understand. When my son finds something difficult, she's given him tips on how to practice. By the next lesson, he's improved significantly. This has helped with his confidence. He gets really excited when he hears the improvement.Her lesson plans include theory and history. She also taught him improv. She patiently taught him how to play jazz songs even though it was difficult for him to swing the eighth notes in the beginning.My son enjoys piano lessons with Michelle. Originally, the plan was for my son to take a break from piano this summer, but he requested for summer lessons, so we signed him up for summer lessons.

The dedication the faculty have to the students at the school is incredible! You can tell that the faculty at Morin truly care about each individual student, their growth and their love of music.On top of their love to teach and connection with their students, the instructors are dedicated to their own craft and take great pride in continuing to develop their own skills. It comes across in their musical performances and involvement across the city, as well as in their lessons.There isn’t an instructor on the faculty that isn’t both an incredible music, instructor and human.

Our kids have had such a wonderful experience with this studio! For several years we have been taking in-home piano lessons with Joanna. She is a kind and caring teacher who has helped our kids grow in talent. She helps them discover music that is new to them and balances their repertoire with pieces of the kids' choice. They love playing piano!

I've had Leon Leontaridis as my voice teacher for 2 years now, and I can't say enough good things about him! He has helped me improve my voice, performance skills, and confidence. He is a wonderful mentor and teacher, and I would recommend him to anyone who loves to sing!

This is a FANTASTIC studio! Our 3-yr old daughter absolutely loves her instructors and really enjoys learning there. The staff are very professional, caring and create an inviting environment. Musician turnover is very low & instructors are very passionate about what they do and always have genuine smiles on their faces. They have great programs and they also let the kids learn at their own pace. My daughter has gained passion for learning, violin and likes to be challenged. I highly recommend the studio to any parents wanting to give their child a high quality and well-rounded musical education.

Lizzie is really wonderful at connecting with children and helping them find the joy in music. Our son is always looking forward to his weekly lessons and is excited to keep learning!

This studio is wonderful! Both of my daughters took piano lessons here for years and I appreciated the patience and guidance of their teacher. She challenged them but also recognized when more time was needed to focus on certain areas of different pieces. I especially appreciated the student recitals - it was an opportunity for me to listen to other students play and sing, and it helped my daughters learn the skills of practice/preparation and build their confidence/courage by being on stage. I highly recommend Morin Music studio as they offer so many types of classes with qualified teachers!

The Morin Studio is the best music studio in Calgary. The instructor’s dedication, professionalism and expertise has always exceeded our expectations.Our children have been fortunate to have had the Morin Studio’s teaching and guidance from a young age. The instructors have the ability to encourage the interest and dedication in their students that is needed for growth in their students musical journey.Our children have learned so much and they continue to enjoy their musical education.We appreciate the patience, excellent training and extra effort exhibited by the teachers.We are very happy with our decision to have chosen the Morin Studio and we look forward to a continued relationship with them.
