David and William at Exterior by Design literally saved us! This summer when we were installing a patio door we discovered significant water damage had reached the structure of our home due to improperly installed stucco. This damage was hidden from us when we purchased the home and had only gotten worse for the 5 years we have owned the property. We were faced with significant reframing, removing and replacing all the sheathing on the house, removing and replacing all of the insulation and removing and replacing all of the stucco and windows. It was a massive job - but as soon as we met David and William - they put us at ease with their knowledge, experience and professionalism. They started work immediately and their crew was experienced and incredibly efficient. Work Completed: Stucco, Stone Veneer and Natural Stone Stairs.We were looking to transform the front exterior of our home and Exterior By Design delivered. The end result was fantastic ascetically right down to the small details. The quality of workmanship is very high and was explained step by step before and during segments of the project by the crew leaders. Dave oversaw the whole project and you couldn't ask for a better person to deal with. He is the nicest man and genuinely wants the best for your project and doesn't play games. It is rare and hard to find these type of people in this business and I am grateful for his experience and leadership on this project. The two different crew leaders and teams were both excellent in answering questions and keeping us updated on timing and progress.

We had contracted Exterior by design for stucco around windows, interlocking driveway, natural stones porch area and replacing porch posts. We hired Exterior by Design for a large scale renovation to our complete home exterior last fall. The work we hired them to do was to replace all of our windows and doors, build an all new large covered deck in the back, install beautiful big Douglas fir posts in the front, install a new shingle roof, install stucco and stone veneer to the complete outside of the house, all new exterior lighting fixtures and potlights, install approximately 1000 square feet of interlocking patio stone, 3 new garage doors, and all new soffits and eavestroughs. We could not have asked for better contractors. From the carpentry, stucco, stone, and window crews to the finishing details like caulking and paint, the crews were professional, courteous, and respectful of our property every time. Pricing was reasonable, and although not the cheapest, we know we got what we paid for and would strongly recommend anyone looking for an exterior renovation to consider this company. Management, timing, and cleanup were taken care of well and we absolutely love the new way our boring old house looks now! It was much warmer all winter with all the new insulation around the house, our furnace kicked in much less often.

My wife and I had a great customer experience working with Exterior By Design. David and Brandon provided excellent visibility in terms of what we could expect, when the work would start and approximately how long it would take. Kamil and Karol did an excellent job transforming the back of our house with a stucco application, providing helpful insight regarding colour, texture and mouldings. JJ was very professional and pleasant as well processing payments throughout and providing detailed invoicing. The project was completed ahead of schedule and the final product looked even better than what was promised. This was a seamless experience throughout. I was very happy to find these guys! Both David and William are amazing, very professional and responsive. They did not ask for a large deposit like many contractors do (up to 50%), which was a sign for us that they are all about quality and confident in the results they deliver. In the end, I wish I had found them earlier and hired to do the backyard as well. But our front yard looks amazing now, all neighbours are in wow. Stucco is absolutely stunning and the new porch is so cozy and stylish! We love the pot lights as well. Special thanks for the custom made number and street name sign which was a gift. We hired Exterior by Design to replace our stone walkway and repair our stucco. We expanded the scope of the project to also include painting our front door and windows and replacing the railing.
