Great staff! Best salon in HRM and their stylists are seriously top notch! Nail, brow and laser specialist is such a pro and very experienced. She does it just right every time. The owners Rob and Devera are so welcoming and always know exactly how to help me with my hair needs and anything else I may need. Fair pricing for the amazing work they do!

We went here the morning of my wedding to get hair done for 4 people. Even with how busy it was, we each had such personalized treatment and all of the stylists were professional. We had a great time. Everyone was super happy with their hair, it was exactly what we wanted! Thanks again!!

The stylist is super chill and is really helpful when you don’t what to do with your hair and is just a blast to talk to and everyone there is super nice

Wow-such a gorgeous space and great services offered. I am incredibly happy with the team at Ultra Hair. I had the best cut and color experience with master stylist Zona. As someone with a hairdye allergy, I was nervous to try anything new. The owner and Zona were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, listened to my concerns and did an excellent job. I can’t say enough good things about this place-thanks for everything!! I will most certainly be back!

I was referred to Ultra for my lashes before my wedding in September. At the time I was struggling with my hair dresser at another salon; my colour was uneven and awful. When I googled the salon, I saw that they specialize in hair loss treatments, and having hypothyroidism, I decided to book consult with Devera (who is such a sweet and insightful woman). I ended up booking a treatment, and a full colour and nails on top of my lashes for the wedding.My lashes were stellar. Exactly what I wanted, and lasted long — I had never had lashes done before, 3 months later and I am still going back for fills because they. are. awesome.My hair is curly and it pulls red. Getting an even cut and a good, even colour is the biggest complaint I have had. That and the dye left circling my face after. I had my hair done by Zona, who not only coloured my hair dark brown (with no red!), but she also evened out my colour (no more tiger lines!). She cuts my curls even and is so careful to not leave such a noticeable ring of colour around my face.And my nails, Jami is the best! For the wedding I had gels put on. They lasted for weeks! Since then, I’ve had acrylics and they last for weeks with a ton of colour selections!I have the pleasure of talking with Rob each time I go in, who is just such a wonderful person! My nephew, who is autistic, came in with my husband for a cut a few weeks ago and Rob brought him a fidget ring that he was so excited about, not only because he thought it was cool but he “could wear it to school and it might help him there too.” <3My husband, who is picky with his cuts, came in and saw Katelyn before the wedding as well and is now a repeat client.I also have to shout out Cilina, who is so bubbly and friendly! I just look forward to seeing her each time I go in.Honestly, I’ve been to a lot of salons and Ultra is the first place that I feel really good about after many years trying to find the “right” fit. It’s friendly, comfortable, welcoming, and understanding — they listen and they care.If you’re looking for a new salon, new aesthetics or hair loss consults, I personally highly recommend Ultra.
