This will be the best waterfowl outfitter you will ever visit. Super organized. Highly motivated, friendly and competent guides and staff. Excellent accommodations, food and equipment. Their trailers are full of a variety of decoys and blind building materials. Set up and take down is fast and easy. They even pick up your empty shell casings! Bird processing was excellent. As you would expect, all laws are observed and every effort is made to retrieve wounded birds. They scout the best areas to hunt every day, but remember that its hunting and not harvesting. You may or may not get your daily limit but you can rest assured that the people at Birdtail will do everything to ensure that your hunt is a great one. Chris M.

Birdtail waterfowl is the best bird hunting experience I've ever had bar down. Guides are very organized and are phenomenal at what they do. This camp has everything you need for unbelievable memories that will last for years. The staff gave us the best service we've ever had and for two years ago we've had amazing success.

Paul runs a top notch hunting camp. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The guides are knowledgeable, work hard and care about your hunting experience. We had great hunts and the birds were everywhere. The food was great and the whole staff is very accommodating. We had a great time!

What a fantastic experience. Such a professional group who were there to make sure we all had an outstanding hunt. Paul runs a very organized, clean and well equipped outfit. The cabins are very comfortably and spacious.Each guide provided new incites into the birds we were after. Ducks,Geeses and Sandhill Cranes were abundant. They scouted the day before or the morning before a hunt to ensure we were put in the correct spot for the best chance for success.Thank you to Mike the chef for his outstanding meals. For two years now Birdtail Outfitters has set the new standard for hospitality and service, while still providing phenomenal and unforgettable hunting experiences for the young and old. Rain or shine the guides will put you on the birds and will provide you with an exciting hunt every time you step out of the state of the art lodging area.They provide you with delicious, warm meals 3 times a day, cooked on site at the camp by an artisan of a chef. This outfitter always puts the hunter first, through their experienced guides all the way to their hospitable and pleasant staff.I wish I could give Birdtail more than five stars because they deserve it, and any person that has hunted with them knows that they are by far in the best hands of the waterfowl hunting business.

Just left the camp, Paul Conchatre runs a well organized top notch outfit. Paul and his staff are incredible. The guiding was all done by professional seasoned guides with tons of experience. The camp cook “Mike” produced food that was simply fantastic. The hunting was world class and as the guys in our group commented was “once in a lifetime”. Our party limited out on cranes, ducks and geese. The accommodations are outstanding, bunk houses are clean, organized and comfortable. We are already booked to return in 2019. I'm 16 and have been going to Birdtail Waterfowl for two years now and it is the best bird hunting experience ever. Their guides are very well experienced and very friendly. They are masters at calling in all the ducks and geese. They take a lot of time scouting and trying to give you the best hunt possible. No matter the weather condition these guides will go out and do what they do best. I have had VERY good success every time I went. This organization is very well organized and professional. At the camp they have gorgeous cabins to sleep in and have a amazingly talented cook. Some of the best meals I have ever had! In all this place creates many lifelong memories and lots of laughs for many people including me and my hunting crew

My first experience at Birdtail was in September 2018. It was totally amazing and I am already looking forward to going back again. All activities were meticulously organized and I was very impressed by the attention that Paul Conchatre and his staff give to detail. In addition, the meals prepared by Mike and Linda were first-class!It was my first opportunity to become acquainted with such rich waterfowl habitat, and the mix of farmland and wetlands drew inestimable numbers of ducks, geese, and sandhill cranes, almost beyond my imagination. The comradery among everyone was a special treat.It was my first experience at a hunting lodge and I cannot image anything that Paul and his staff could have provided that would have made my experience better than it was.
