Will was a great guy to deal with. Brought to him my NEC AUP-7000FE turntable with an irratic speed issue. Will immediate recognize the problem and took on the task. I also had Will replace the stock phono cable and add RCA connectors so I can use any cable I wish. He did a fantastic job! I almost didn't recognize it when I got it back. It looked almost as good as new! I couldn't be happier with the work he did. 3 months after and no issue whatsoever. Give him a call. He have my future business when opportunity arise!

My old record player was getting worn down. There were issues with the belt and it was making knocking sounds while playing. I took it in to Planet Hi-Fi and a few days later it was given back to me good as new. It was given a tune up and had a couple parts cleaned up or replaced. It sounds fantastic now. The repairs were reasonably priced as well.Thanks a lot to Planet Hi-Fi! I couldn't be happier.

Will is awesome. Straight up. Charged a fair amount and delivered a turntable I recovered from Kijiji to working order. Highly recommend anyone with older stereo equipment to get Will on your side.

I had Will take a look at a couple players including a Marantz CD-73 that needed some TLC. And while the wait time was a little longer than expect, the problems have been addressed and planet hifi offers nothing more than honest and hard working service. If you have Hi-Fi equipment that needs some TLC or a tune up, I would highly recommend giving these folks a try.

I was looking for a repair shop for my vintage Dual turntable which had stopped working. I discovered Planet HiFi on Kijiji and although there were other options to consider I gave WIll a call first.It was the only call I needed to make. After taking with Will on the phone it was clear that Planet HiFi was the right place to take my turntableWill was great to deal with and his work was very detailed. The SX-838 I bought was damaged in transit. Will was able to restore it to near new condition, having to manufacture new trim pieces and upgraded with new LED lights, plus a full service and fixing things that had been done incorrectly by the previous owner. It sounds great, looks great and I’ll have it for years. They have also restored and updated my Thorens TD160 turntable. It looks great, sounds great and will likely live on for another 50 years. I will continue to take my vintage stereo to Planet Hi-Fi for the friendly, knowledgeable and convenient service.

Will at Planet Hi-Fi did a fantastic job of restoring my 40+ year old audio equipment (Quad amp, Ariston/SME turntable, B&W speakers) back to full health. They haven’t sounded this good in a lot of years. I can thoroughly recommend Planet Hi-Fi.
