Avis car rental

At the last minute, me and my family decided to have a nice Sunday so I decided to rent a car close by. I made the reservation around 11am to pickup the car at 2pm, time that they are suppose close on Sundays. Anyways, I totally understand the cleanliness condition on the outside of the veicule, because it has snowed a lot these days, but when it comes to inside, I think there is no excuse to hand a car to a costumer on this condition. I also take in consideration that I might took a promotion or a last order sales but the truth is that the car was disgusting. Talking about front desk service, it was not bad, but also not good. The person did his job as the script says, but when I went to the car I notice that the gas tank was not full, 3/4 to be exact, and then I came back to the store to tell the staff that he wrote in my chart that the tank was full. For my surprise, the person simply closed the store and took off. He didn’t even wait until I leave. For me, this is a little bit rude because what if I had any other problem like starting the car for exemple. Well, I don’t know but I looked my watch and it was not 2pm yet for the record. Anyways, in other hand, I must compliment the return reception which it was way better. Another person was outside waiting for me and when I told him about the fuel problem, he just asked for a picture. He didn’t make any big deal out of it. The car was pretty good, driving wise, no issue about that. Summarizing my experience, the main problem was the cleanliness of the veicule and the store itself. Really messy store, looked like the store was abandoned or shutting down for good. Washroom was even worst and I don’t think I’ll be coming back to rent another car in this place or even at AVIS again, because I know at this particular store they have very attractive prices but for $10 or $20 more, I could get better car conditions on other places. Also, for being an AVIS franchise, this experience was very disappointing that I don’t want to go through ever again.

We rent from this location often because the service is always excellent. The owner and his staff are very friendly and attentive to detail. There's rarely a wait time because they are very well organized with the reservations. We are so grateful to have this location close to us and will continue to come back!

I had a reservation for 12 this past Saturday and waited over an hour for service. The gentlemen who was handling the front desk was kind and hardworking, however, it was impossible for him to handle checking in customers while also cleaning cars. It was an extremely stressful situation for everyone involved. When the time came for me to get my car, the agent told me that it was pretty clean and therefore did not clean it at all (I watched someone return the car while waiting). Frustrated I went to the car because at this point I was running late for an event, when I got to the car it reeked of cigarette smoke. I notified the agent and he sprayed it down which did not get rid of the smell. Horrible experience and I’m only reviewing because I have similar experiences every time at this location. Highly recommend better staffing!

Excellent service, clean cars that are well-maintained. Five stars all around. The agency operator, Syed, was so helpful in answering all my questions and easing my concerns. Would recommend 100%.

I went to this location pick up a car for my G test and the manger who runs this location is very unprofessional, argumentative and rude. He was very condescending towards me and treated the two people ahead of me way better and even gave one of them a good deal probably because they are from the same country.I used a Avis discount that I received upon graduating from college. It’s a lifetime perk that I can use. It doesn’t show on the website that I need to bring an identification for the discount & if he at least called me ahead of time to let me know I would have to bring identification I would have brought my school identification.He could have easily allowed it and could have told me to bring it next time since I was a returning customer who usually rents from this location. The waiting time was also long. I had to wait 30 min to get checked in.He was very condescending towards me acting like I’m irresponsible talking about how he will swipe my drive’s license to check if it’s legit….mind you he never did that to the two people that were ahead of me. When I didn’t respond to him he kept trying to start an argument with me and I was in a rush to get out of there because I had to do my G test. Seems like he wanted to waste my time on purpose. He was very unprofessional.I will never come back to this location. I’ve never had an issue with Avis until I came to this location. They don’t clean their cars properly and the car selection is horrible. They also didn’t pump the tires properly which not my job to do. I would rather go to Avis at the airport or any other location but that location.

Great experience. Also want to give a shout out to Syed Ashraf who was polite, efficient, and unflappable even though he was working alone and it was quite busy. Rates were good and we received an upgraded car. It was an unexpected but lovely bonus as the car was a joy to drive. This location was super clean and convenient. The check-in and return process was quick, despite the fact that there were several customers ahead of us - both on the phone and in the office. Just a great rental experience.

The car was clean and the service was excellent. Syed is very helpful. We arrived early and they worked to get us a car quickly. I have rented here a few times and will continue to do so.

I had a great experience with this Avis because of the Agency Operator, Syed. Syed is very professional, polite, and he was so kind he gave me a brand new vehicle for my rental. I had such a great experience that I’ll only be renting from this location from now on! Highly recommend that you speak with Syed if you need a solid rental car.
