BMO Bank of Montreal

Horrible bank ( every week locked out of account randomly, input new password and I get you can't use your last password" )Call online support an they say there is nothing they can do ..I've been a customer for years. And I'm ready to move all my stuff out of there just to stop this.It just keeps happening."

Wow. Just trying to open up a brand new account. Call the branch three times now. Their answering machine message said they will get back to you by the end of the business day. Obviously that is a lie. Seriously considering if I want to actually be a part of this business. They don't seem to want to have my business

I've been going to this bank for years & usually it's fine. However of late I seriously do find people are slacking on their knowledge of basic customer service & knowledge of the bank.A few days ago I was in a rush & asked if I could be helped quickly..I was working with a clerk who was new to the job, which is totally fine..I asked nicely & in the end a lady came over..slamming my card around & getting the process done in a slow manner. What should have been 5 minutes lasted almost half hour.Today as I go in the same lady was there..She told me I was yelling at her & that she wasn't being rude instead of just apologizing & realizing where she went wrong.I find it interesting that I wasn't yelling at all the cameras can prove this yet I'm sure she saw I was black & assumed yea she was yelling"When she said that I ended the conversation & left immediately as she was not backing down

It's interesting to see that a bank, such as this Bank of Montreal, at this location has a locking divider to prevent access into the bank outside of business hours while allowing access to the ATMs on site; however, the front doors are locked?What's the point then?

I have never experience the excellence in customer service in last couple years. This branch have done all to meet my needs. Jason Nguyen was super nice person, he go above and beyond in his service and done everything possible for me. Even security guy Shawn have made my day. Good people create good environment, this BMO branch is amazing.

Manager was rude, uncaring and incompetent.Went to another branch and they went above and beyond and helped me.The manager at the weber street location needs to rethink her career choices.

Went in 2 weeks ago to sort things out for my lease buyout. Discovered my line of credit was deactivated" because it hadn't been used recently. Had to book an appointment with one of the finance managers to deal with it. An obviously time-sensitive thing

Gic's are fine to get from BMO just don't use them for chequing or savings accounts. If you pass, even if you have all the legal documents and they've given you the person's GIC within a week of passing... They will not part with the chequing and savings. Continually dinging them for fees you can't stop even though the account is frozen. They will not transfer the money to an estate account without paperwork that doesn't exist. They demand your request be printed on another banks letterhead if the estate comes from that bank. In addition it must be written by the employee that opened said account for you. No bank will do this... So BMO gets to keep your money till you escalate to a lawyer a year later after sixteen attempts to fulfill their insane demand. They have cost me over three thousand dollars in lost wages bringing them paperwork they then reject as just not enough... In short BMO will steal from your dead relatives full stop...

They need to keep the doors unlocked from the times they say are they instead of lockin it early

If I could give less stars I would. Worst customer service, slowest bank I've ever been to. And lucky if 2nwickets are open.
