I have banked at this branch for several years and I think the staff and branch are excellent. I am not sure why they receive some of poor reviews but wanted to add my two cents worth (LOL). I believe they must be singular bad experiences and hope that my review gives anyone reviewing this more to go on. The staff and counter manager are very personable, friendly and do a great job.

The worst and bad experience ever!!Agent transferring call others agent and me I was waiting for more than 40 mins on line, then they cut the call without calling me back again!!! And all that just to change my appointment time

Avoid this place at all cost. Do not book an appointment with them, do not bank with them, and do not trust them. Their so called financial advisors only want one thing, to push their ridiculous savings and investment products on you. They don’t care what you want, they only care about what they want you to have. Horrible customer service. If they approved you for a product and then found out you left a bad review about the advisor, they will make sure you take it out on you. They approved me for a credit card, even sent me the card. After I left a bad review, they put a hold on my new card and said I needed to verify everything again. I have already done all of that. I did and I had to wait three weeks for them to activate my card again. Avoid scotia bank, they are full of greedy folks.

My first bad review ever. The branch is super unprofessional and wasted customers ' time! I went there to deposit a bank draft to a third party. When I first went, a student-looking staff (probably on training) said that I need another authorized signature; otherwise, it'll be on hold. However, this is totally not true; you only need 2 signatures (cosign and authorized officer signature) if the amount is over $5000. My amount is less than $5000, and I need it to be deposit right away rather than hold for several days. So I went back to the bank where I got the draft from and got another authorized signature, then try to deposit it to this Scotiabank branch again. Then, the lady in white and pinkish hair with glasses told me that the draft needs to be on hold because it's a third-party deposit. But the first time I went, the student looking on training staff already asked the pink hair lady, and she did not say a thing about on hold even if I got the authorized signature. The pink hair lady also only asked happy customers for their feedback/rate her service. So I got my draft back and went to another Scotiabank location to deposit; the staff at the other location did not hold my draft at all and deposited it right away. This location only has two staff, and two of them all did not get enough training to start with. This location totally wasted my time, and the staff I met was super unprofessional.

I dealt with Mary (with the beautiful pink hair) regarding a slightly complicated manner. She was very patient and knowledgeable providing very helpful suggestions that allowed me to save on fees. This was much appreciated. I had go back the day after to speak with the bank manager Aileen regarding an estate matter. What a helpful lady! She took care of the transactions for me instead of me having to do the work. I can't say enough of how impressed I am with the staff here and this is not my normal branch!

Worst Scotiabank branch ever. If I could give zero stars I would. This is not anger or anything. I went in for a small request of statement, they got so confused and finally didn’t even give a proper statement.The staff is too old and not at all smart to manage clients. Sad but it’s true, I would never bank from this branch

Excellent customer service from this branch always! Peter Chong and all the teller members at the branch are awesome in ensuring outstanding customer service and loyalty to a great extent. Specifically, to understand the issues of customer due to on going Covid-19 impact, their cordiality and professionalism are impeccable and state-of-the-art. Definitely, this is the best Scotiabank branch of GTA.

I informed the branch lady that this was my first time banking with them. The lady receptionist did not inform me that I had to activate PIN in the branch for first time. I reached home and realized this was the only way and came back again. When I informed her she treated me like I did not exist and was unapologetic. I would not suggest this branch for a friendly environment

Fantastic bunch of people at this branch. They are always happy, helpful and quick. Not often I find moment to stop and rate but really felt motivated by the great level of service and efficiency. Full service branch with ATM, very clean and usually a pot of coffee or a drink on the side counter. There is even a counter with a chair for elderly people or people with wheelchair to access easily.
