I am a 57 year old school teacher from Idaho who decided to try online piano lessons with Andrew while I had some extra time this spring. I had only very limited prior music experience, but I have gained so much in eight weeks! Samara has been giving my daughter voice lessons for 4 years and has helped my daughter become more confident as well as improve her voice. I have known Samara since she was a young singer in youth choir. Samara has grown into an exceptional teacher with so much patience and skill, as well as an outstanding choir conductor. Andrew and Samara are an amazing duo.

I adore my weekly voice lesson. Samara has a gift for assessing what you need then breaking that down into easily manageable techniques And practices. And she makes it fun! I’ve learned about music theory, breath support, proper body position and have practiced them all while singing engaging repertoire. Samara is a passionate and thoughtful teacher. I’m super thankful to be learning from her.

Andrew is an amazing piano instructor. I am an adult beginner and was shy to start lessons. He put me right at ease and quickly figured out a good starting point for me. Each week it just gets more and more interesting. The online part is great too. I see Andrew and an overhead view of his hands and keyboard. It is absolutely just like being in person without the drive. I look forward to each lesson and I am learning so much.

We feel so fortunate to have Andrew and Samara in the musical life of our son. Andrew has been the perfect teacher for our teenager- helping him develop his love of voice and piano. Samara has been conducting the local choir for years and is a strong advocate and champion for the local choir. Her love of music and of our community is evident in everything she does.The transition from in-person to on-line lessons was perfectly seamless and our son has continued to grow musically and learn new skills even as in person classes have been restricted.
