Loblaw pharmacy

wish I could give 0 to this horrible place. First of all, when your dr. Faxes the prescription, for an unknown reason they never receive it. You have to follow up with your doctor’s office multiple times and they fax it over and over again, hopefully you can get your medication after a couple of times calling back and forth between doctor’s office and the pharmacy.Second, when you walk in and ask for a refill, usually other pharmacies make it ready in 20 minutes max, but this pharmacy tells you that you can pick up your medication in 30 minutes. And guess what? If you think that they do it in 30 minutes, you are mistaken. Once, I was waiting exactly 70 minutes and it was not even a busy day. Just 2-3 patients.But I had the most disgusting experience with them yesterday. My doctor faxed the prescription as usual and when I went there to pick it up, the pharmacist said I’m not gonna give your medicine. I asked why? She said because you finished your last medication one month earlier. (It’s a medication that my doctor prescribes every 3 months and I increase the dosage under my doctor’s permission. That’s why it lasted only 2 months and my doctor sent another prescription)Anyway, I told her that it’s my doctor’s job to realize how much I need this medicine not yours. And that’s why she faxed the prescription one month sooner. She said I don’t care and I’m not gonna give it to you unless your doctor calls the pharmacy and explains the reason to us…Can you believe it? The doctor should explain to a pharmacy employee the reason why she increased the dosage.And it is a critical medication which I need to take it regularly. I was shaking and she was seeing my situation and looked like she was enjoying it. She seems like a sadistic person to me enjoying watching people suffering.My doctor wasn’t at the office at that day and she didn’t give me my medication and I fainted after I got home. I wish I knew her name to mention it here. I will never go to this hell pharmacy again, but if I go for shopping at no frills, I’ll definitely find out her name and will add it here.

This place is a hidden gem, located in a busy No Frills. We were very surprised with our interaction with Dennis, the pharmacist, because he is patient, kind, and very helpful. He definitely deserves a special mention. This is quite different than the experiences I have had at other pharmacies. Highly recommend.

The stellar service I receive is unmatched by any pharmacy in the Richmond hill area. Shout out to the pharmacists especially Dennis and Jennifer. Thankyou!!
