Wonderful service.They really saved me. I had lost my glasses at the beginning of the weekend and could not get an appointment anywhere. They came to my rescue, by updating my prescription and getting me some new (restoring my vision!), all in a couple of days. The pricing was fair and reasonable. The service was exceptional.I strongly recommend this location.

I am so impressed with this clinic. I woke up with what turned out to be a cyst in my eye so I called this local clinic and was told to come in as a walk in eventhouth they were booked for the day. The staff was courteous and I was seen within 30 minutes despite not having an appointment. The Doctor was thorough and helpful.

Dr. Zahiri is very professional, accurate and patient. She listens very well and tries her best to satisfy the patient. Her assistants are very friendly and will help you find the right glasses for you. Dr. Zahiri is also recommended for examining children

When I had an emergency situation in November and was unable to get an appointment with my usual optometrist, I found a review advising me that you where willing to take emergencies. Now I am paying it forward by sending you and your staff yet another positive review which is greatly warranted.I called on Saturday to be advised the doctor was not in until Monday and when I called back on Monday morning, the phone was promptly answered and I was seen that same afternoon, even though I was not a regular client.You took several retinal scans and calmly reassured me during a difficult situation. My appointment was January 19, 2021, when I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome.I was given a form to fill out then introduced to the Optometrist, she too was amazing, everything was explained and NEVER rushed me.I felt then I was having a great eye exam.I got a call 4 days later to pickup my glasses, there was two sets, one was for reading the other for distance, the product and satisfaction was 100%.Folks, if you need eye care, do yourself a favour and call Findlay Creek Eye Care Clinic 4750 Bank Street.They are very professional, caring and their goal is to give you the BEST eye care results possible.The survey gives a maximum 5 star rating, the quality service I received deserves a 10 STAR RATING for EVERYONE.Roger A. I recently visited Laurier Optical - Findlay Creek Ottawa location and let’s just say I am disgusted. I am a 28 year old Black Muslim Woman so I am pretty used to different systems of oppression. However, one of the staff (women in a black sweater) at this location has taken it to a whole different level using Covid measures to limit my access to essential resources. We walked in this morning in hopes of finding a frame and purchasing lenses. I was told by staff that they could only allow four people in the store which I understood and she mentioned it was okay for now (because there were only 4 people in the store including us) however I was told we would have to leave to make room for other customers. At first, I was completely shocked and confused but nevertheless turned a blind eye and continued browsing anyways. As more people entered the store I thought the staff would be sharing that same message to everyone but it was clear that it was only targeted towards me and my sister. Lucky the location had two other staff who were also minorities they tried to assist us the best way that they could. One staff (a woman wearing a hijab) offered us a bin to use and asked us to place glasses we tried on in the bin and told us to look around even though she was busy with other clients. The other staff who was also a Person of Colour was a trainee at the location who did everything she could to make the experience better for us. She helped assist us throughout. She was in training therefore she had to ask the other staff (woman in black sweater) for guidance. In return, the staff (black sweater) completely ignored her and treated her with disrespect instead of supporting her and answering her questions. The staff (black sweater) spoke down to her and tbh that is why I am writing this review. First of all, if the trainee is reading this I want her to know as a POC I am so proud of her and she needs to know that we need people like her in the field hopefully I can tell her in person when we pick up the glasses. Secondly, I am writing this because this company has clearly failed to train their employees. It’s legit 2022 and here we are. You and your staff need to do better. I can’t imagine what others might have experienced trying to get basic essential services and resources. You should be ashamed.Update: I was contacted by the store (the doctor) to clarify what happen today. The doctor explained their Covid policy and took the time to reach out but in the end this entire experience was disgusting and I would not recommend this location to anyone. Also instead of getting an apology and being ensured this wouldn't happen again. I was told that the staff that ruined our experience today was also a minority (which doesn't even matter tbh) and I was also asked to delete my post. I think this explains everything and If you are reading this I advise you to find a different clinic.
