Although most of my experiences with RBC have not been all sunshine and rainbows, Paulus at the commercial street branch always goes above and beyond with customer service and assisting with all my banking needs. Kudos to Paulus for his helpful and pleasant personality with his clients. It definitely does not go unnoticed. Keep up the great work!

I have had several meetings with Financial Advisor Michael Kossey at the Commercial Street Branch.I received excellent service . Michael always available and responded immediately to all myissues. I could not have had a better bank representative .May Pedersen great with completion of Estate .Dean Simpson , Financial advisor from Woodgrove Branch very knowledgeable and efficient.Thank you Royal Bank Staff.

This is my favourite bank since I have moved to Nanaimo last year. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the manager Leona who is professional, sophisticated and knowledgeable to solve the problem and also has a warm heart to help the customer need. I really appreciate her amazing work. Thank you so much Leona!

Poor customer service on an issue they could have and should have been able to help with. No going out of the way to offer easy to implement solutions.

I am not someone who visits branch everyday but I visit the commercial branch last week was very happy with the service. I had booked the appointment for Brooks landing and showed up At commercial st. Financial Advisor Allan was very helpful, and drove to see me at commercial st, he was very knowledgeable knows market. He was able to advice me with respect to my situation. He understood where I come from. Really appreciate him and would always continue business with him…

This branch has a wonderful branch manager who took ultimate care to expedite our situation when she really did not have to. She was very friendly and cordial which impressed my wife and I.

This is hands down the best branch in town. Not only amongst the RBC banks but it stands out from the competitors. When you walk in you are greeted by staff, they’ll direct you to the appropriate personnel. Plus it feels nice to be acknowledged. The tellers are friendly and quick (as possible let’s be honest not all customers are created equally) the financial advisors are also good at what they do. Hell they even seem to have a working relationship with the protesters outside. Just thought I’d share some thoughts as I had seen some brutal reviews of the Woodgrove branch…not all branches and staff are created equal.

I just opened a new account. Staff is friendly enough but have had to find out a few things the hard way on my own. Examples being... when I opened my account I was told they don't issue bank cards. I had to wait 5-10 days for it to be mailed. Come to find out, although true, a temp. card could've been issued. When the teller informed me of this however had I gotten one then my card enroute would be cancelled. Finally, over a week later, my card arrives! I proceed to go ahead and pay some bills that were under my old account. My card isn't being accepted Why? It's not a Visa/Mastercard debit card, you know like you get from any other bank as soon as you open an account!?? So...in these times, I am left with a client card, good for the atm and in store purchases. I cannot make any online purchases, food or otherwise. All of my monthly subscriptions are in default and have been cancelled as well. I was not informed of any of this. Oh, and I went to the app to order" a Visa debit but
