Hertz Car Rental - Abbotsford Airport

Clearly Hertz is not in the customer service business. If you want to speak to someone it is not possible. The phone number is an endless loop of go to our website or download our App. What happens if their website does not recognize your rental record number? I simply wanted to modify my existing rental and could not do it. I think I will rent from a company that values its customer enough to staff a phone line. The local agent was satisfactory though.

The agent at this hertz tried to force me into upgrade when I booked for a compact car. I made the reservation long back and I called in to let them know about my late arrival but the agent told me that they don’t have a compact car and so I would have to pay upgrade for a bigger car.What fraud is this going on. I booked a compact car and why do I have to pay for a bigger car. It is not my fault they don’t have a compact car. If I have a reservation then I am supposed to get a car without any additional costs. The agent clearly tried to rip me off by forcing me by telling me that I will have to upgrade to a bigger car as no compact car is available?

I rented car from them. The Gas tank was not full. I took pictures and went home. While returning the car I told the representative in counter the tank was not full and shown him both pick and drop off pictures of Gas. He said we noted down and you won't be charge. The next day got Gas recipt from Hertz. I escalated the case to manager and got reply today they can't refund me. It was worst experience. I will never rent with Hertz. Such horrible customer service. I'm sure they will be doing this with other people too

It was the worst experience of my life and it was very rude customer service. I paid all through expedia, but I didn't have the car I booked, so the guy asked me to pay more and take a bigger car, than I refuse and say I don’t understand Why you charge me more money even you still have bigger car also I already paid all,He said He will call the police if I kept complaining, than me, my wife, and the three kids had to take a taxi to the hotel.This is my first time review on google.What a joke…never trust this company ever.Where is my money go????

Cancelled rental do to change of plans, payment was supposed to be voided and it wasn’t. It showed up on my statement, and now we are stranded without use of a credit card. Customer service has not answered the phone, we’ve called many times. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.Would not recommend.

Horrible service. They put me in a car that I didn’t request. I asked for economy and was given a mid size suv. Then when they switched me, car was filthy. Was told a manager would call me twice and never did. Then they charged my card without permission.

Had a fantastic experience with them. Gurkaran was very helpful and quickly arranged for a booster seat for our child and also gave us an upgrade from compact sedan to SUV at no additional charge. Very happy with the service!
