Both of my sons attended Crosby Heights. The teachers are caring. They have reached out to us whenever there were concerns. They are team players who work with parents and students to ensure success. We have managed to make connections with the teachers all the way from kindergarten up to grade 8.

Terrible school. Teachers are awful and only care about appearing progressive" in front of the board. Bunch of government employees. No one takes responsibility for their mistakes. Principle refused to speak to us about an issue. Once my child's teacher marked him absent when he was there leading to much stress and worry and the secretary laughed in our faces."

This school is honestly the best!! But it is very depressing that i have to leave this school. I've been in this school for 8 years, I'm currently in 7th grade came when i was in kindergarten. The teachers are very good 5th grade best teacher was Ms. Lahil. 6th grade i was doing a year of online and it wasn't the teacher from Crosby and the best teacher in the school is Mr. Yoshida. He is very strict but thats what is going to help us learn. i have him this year in grade 7. I'm going to miss this school alot...

Graduating this year... Kind of sad.First off, I'm in the gifted program, can't speak for mainstream kids.Anyways, teachers are pretty great, though there's one in particular who was... Not ideal (aka handed out endless teacherspayteachers worksheets). There are a few really good teachers though (Ms. Boehlke), if you get them, you're pretty lucky!School itself is relatively nice, we have two gyms, though one is super small. Some classes have to go in portables, though I've never been in them before. Bathrooms can sometimes be super gross, and sometimes random people stand around talking there, which is annoying when you're trying to defacate in peace. When it rains, hallways are terrifying, so watch out for that.Mainstream and gifted kids don't really interact much. Seems like the school kind of has chromebook shortage, people always come to my class to ask for extras. Also people knock on my classroom door for no apparent reason and run off? Some people are annoying.Anyways, I've been at this school for 5 years, and enjoyed my time here. Would recommend, and sad to be gone soon.

My son currently attends this school; he is in grade 2, and he enjoys his school and classmates. There are two gyms, and we enjoyed the movie night because it was like a reunion. However, the parking area is inadequate for dropping off and picking up children; hopefully, they have plans to improve it. Additionally, assigning more homework will help students improve their skills and knowledge.

They really try to do their best for kids, however, I think the parking conditions in kids dropping every morning could be better than this.

A school that's been around for a very long time and seen multiple generations of students. The older part of the school is old and in plans for renovations. In the early 2000s a new wing was added for a brand new office - giving the school a new face. One of the largest gyms in the area, regional volleyball, basketball, and badminton tournaments are held here. Also home of the gifted program - don't listen to the students thinking it's too hard and there's too much homework, other schools are just being too relaxed and not challenging their students! Students coming out of the gifted program are engaged, ready to take on bigger challenges, and more than prepared for high school (Richmond Hill High School is the school with the gifted/enriched/AP program - they'll be ready for it!). For the sake of your children and your own sanity - don't put your kids though the stress of taking extra IQ tests to get into the gifted program if they're not ready to work hard for their grades.

Most teachers are nice and some are really good, but I wish our school was less dirty and was more renovated since its so old and poor. If we made more money than we could do so much more things. And also while it's easy to make friends (in my opinion) some students are really horrible. There was this one time when a bunch of like, first graders or kindergartens started beating up a bunch of my friends and there was blood. I'm surprised those people weren't suspended. I think the school system should handle the students better and also the lockers are so tiny they barely fit anything. Other than that, I think our school's improving!
