Josh provides work done using quality materials, attention to detail and always gets the jobs done with integrity. We hired Harbord Valley to do our front walkway and retaining wall. This was our first time hiring a contractor. Josh and his team Travis and Chris did an amazing job. Josh worked with us from the start on the design and materials, he was so helpful and was excited about the different materials and finding solutions for our project. Would absolutely recommend Josh and his team.

My husband and I were looking to have a deck built this summer with the expectation that we probably wouldn't be able to find a contractor available to do the job before August. I started searching in our area and came across Joshua/Harbord Valley and was seriously impressed with the photos of his work. Joshua let us know he could have the deck completed before the end of April and we were thrilled. Communication was easy, he was super pleasant and the job was done quickly with no issues. We look forward to hiring him again soon to have him do some of his stellar hardscaping on the front of our house. Highly recommend!

Joshua did an excellent job installing our cobblestone driveway, walkway, stone steps and metal edging. He did the work in September 2020 and we get so many compliments! We love the metal edging that is naturally rusting that he suggested we do. He is amazing!

Book him if you can get him! Josh and his crew are the best. He did our deck seven years ago and we couldn't be happier. Here's a photo of it new and it's held up very well. It makes summer so much more enjoyable, and winter, staring out at it from the kitchen, that much more painful.

Josh designed and built an ambitious backyard project for our hilly backyard. It has a large lower level deck and two upper level decks with two playhouses each of the upper level, a lidded sandbox. a new angled fence parallel to the ground, and planter boxes.Josh listened to our requests and designed exactly what we hoped for--except that he made his design even better than our dreams and had an eye and thoughtfulness for safety that we hadn't even considered.The work was fast and the craftsmanship top notch.Everyone who visits (in pre-pandemic times) or walks by comments on our beautiful backyard.The pricing was highly reasonable.I would highly recommend Josh--he was fantastic to deal with in every way.

With creativity Josh turned our ideas into a professional design and then executed the job on time and on budget. This was a significant landscape project that included a deck, stairs, patio and fence and we are very happy with the results.

Josh spearheaded the build of a deck and stone walkway at my property (detached house) and both results were better than envisioned. Work was always completed on schedule and budget with no later issues and a clean worksite throughout. We have used his team for other projects such as construction of a shed on a different property.
