Comfortable beds, fantastic staff, home cooked meals and amazing surrounding scenery in a spiritually positive area.

It was a great experience staying at the lodge and doing the wild side trail ( although we did only a short part). The Lodge is fully equipped ( kitchen appliances, towels, wi-fi...). It was a comfortable place to stay. All was perfect. To move there, you have to take a water taxi from Tofino, check before the schedule if you want to arrive in a specific time, sometimes the water taxi can be full. On the other hand, you probable will find a water taxi (Lone Cone),.The visitor office, will take care of you, No worries!. The Staff and the community is really kind and you can call them at any moment. Probably, we will come back this summer! We miss this beautiful place already!

5 stars for location right at the wild side trailhead, friendly helpful local folks making good food, and clean, simple, tidy rooms. Great place to immerse in the culture of the First Nations communities here.

Staf was really helpful on the second stay. Not much communication on the first morning. Didn't give much onfo on when continental breakfast was going to be served. No one around when we went to have breakfast. Had to look around and find things myself. Service was better on check out day.

This place is good for fishing if you want to do Charter no vehicles go over there. It is a beautiful part of Vancouver Island.

Wonderful accomodation and service, just a short 8 minute walk from the start of the Wild Side Trail, and the beach. Nothing fancy inside, but bedrooms are clean and more comfortable than expected. Shared bathrooms and showers. Large rec room with TV and couches, two exterior patios. Located outside the main village, the lodge is surrounded by some forest and next to a small pond with a totem. Manager was friendly, helpful, and unintrusive. While definitely not fancy.. clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited to Flores Island. Recently had high speed internet installed, I had zero problems streaming Netflix (a surprising luxury).

Great lodge with very friendly staff and locals. The day i arrived the owner picked me up from the docks (only accessible by boat) and showed me around the town. Rooms were very nice and clean. The locals on the island were very friendly and welcoming. The staff will always make sure your properly fed and the free continental breakfast is better then any other place i stayed. Lots to explore on the beautiful island and very minimal tourists! I would definitely stay here again whenever I am going to Tofino and recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the tourist!

For those who love the silence of nature with few tourists, visiting here is a bliss. It's a place that steers by the heart and that will restore your faith in our species.

Just stayed at Aauuknuk Lodge this past weekend for a wedding. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating; Rides were readily available when needed, the staff were friendly, coffee was excellent, showers and washroom facilities worked out great. Fresh towels in my room. I'll be back for sure for a longer visit to this special place.

The Aauuknuk lodge is the best lodging experience! From the food to the people and service, it is just too notch! Definitely better than many 5-star hotel chains out there! Will be going back!
