The Lone Star Motel - Rossland, BC

Room was clean and comfortable with a full kitchen. Wax room and equipment storage was a great feature to have. Beds were extremely comfortable.Staff was friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.

Hotel was great for what I needed. Nothing fancy or flashy. Comfortable bed. Everything I needed for my work trip.Being that I stayed for a long duration, I would've liked a broom in my room but HEY!!!!! Minor qualm.Wifi was good..........quiet.........basic kitchen necessities (though I did pick up a non stick pan which I'll be leaving for the next traveller).

I come here for extended an stay in the summer for work and I am never disappointed! The rooms are very clean, the beds are super comfortable and it's very quiet. The laundry facilities are right there, $2.50 for the washer and $1.00 for the dryer. They supply handsoap, shampoo and bodywash. But the real reason I keep coming back? The owner Bree, (who is awesome, btw) usually cooks for me at least once during my stay! Authentic Chinese food. It's absolutely delicious and if she ever decided to open her own restaurant, she'd blow the competition out of the water. I'll keep coming back! It's a great place to stay.

Simple bare bones accommodation, but priced accordingly. Room was dated but clean, fridge, fan, clothes line etc. Definitely set up for cheap ski trips etc. Staff was helpful and got us a cheaper room. No AC.

It's a good little motel at a nice low price point. I wouldn't bring my wife here for a luxury vacation but it's great to come with the boys for a ski weekend. Our room had a kitchenette so I was able to make breakfast. The only downside was the poor sound insulation between rooms but our neighbours quieted down and it wasn't really a problem.

Cute & cozy spot. We rented a studio with a kitchen. Kitchen has everything we needed to cook. Comfy bed, the studio was very clean and well kept. Perfect spot out of town but close enough (8-10 min drive). I will stay here again :) Friendly staff too!

The Lone Star Motel was clean, quiet, comfortable and only a few minutes' drive from the ski area. We'd stay here again!
