Scratch Provisions

Any time my Scratch pie inventory gets below 12 I start hyperventilating. Had the Skirt Steak today and declared it my favorite. My wife claims I say that after every pie. My one suggestion is, make a gravy, cook your pie and then crumple up the top and pour 50-80 ml in the pie. If you are feeling lazy, go through the KFC drive thru and get a medium gravy as a base and then season it properly. OK, enough of this review stuff...it's pie time. Thanks for feeding the addiction I developed in new Zealand!

Amazing savory pies and delicious soups. Also, pre-made quiche crusts! Never buying another store bought crust again.

I first tried meat pies in New Zealand a few years ago and got hooked. I couldn't get enough of them and was really hoping that sometime someone would start making and selling them in Saskatoon. Then along came Scratch Provisions and Trent.While the New Zealand meat pies are wonderful, they don't have the culinary expertise that Trent brings to making pies. So many delicious, flavourful and interesting varieties! It's amazing to me to see what a trained chef can bring to such a simple thing as a meat pie.Great pies; I'd highly recommend Scratch Provisions. I'll certainly keep going back for more of my favourites and to try new combinations of flavour and goodness!

I love pies!! Nothing better than a good pie... even better with a great crust... even better if there is MEAT in them!! Found out about this place about a month ago... got a 4 pack sampler in which all were ate that night!! YUM!! Round two upgraded to a 9 box :) We've tried six different varieties so far and all were very very good!! If you like spice... the curried beef pictured here was perfect... not too much... just right for the type of filling... I just finished the jerk turkey and that was some nice heat!! These are seriously good pies!! Check them out... support local!! Cheers!!

The place to go for pies in Saskatoon. Excellent range of flavors, catering to varied tastes. The pies have been consistently superb in taste, every single time I have purchased them. Please note, that currently, the pies can only be picked up from here on Fri-10am to 5 pm, and Sat-9am to 3 pm. Well worth a visit.

Delicious. So tasty. We had the Jamaican Beef and Royale Chicken. Once at home I added a side of stir fried snap peas and cauliflower. Pastry and fillings were awesome.

Absolute gold mine. The pastry...amazing, variety, outstanding. Something for everyone. And its all sooo good. Seriously, treat yourself and get a couple pies. I buy them a dozen at a time. My family and I absolutly love them!

Great experience ordering, he hooked me up with a great variety of pies. The old classics like Royal Chicken are great, but the inventive pies are amazing! Sorry pies gotten eaten too fast for 'gram worthy photos. Just have empty plates and full bellies.

Trent's pies and soups are excellent! Great to keep in the freezer for a quick and easy meal. I've enjoyed all the pies I've tried -- my favourite so far was the caramelized onion and gruyere.
