Lovely Italian meal here. Really enjoyed their Margherita pizza and their apps. Will try their pastas next time. Service was very good and friendly.

Second time coming here.We ordered I think 4 entrees w salads and an appetizer and shared things family style so we could taste everything (I recommend doing this as you will want to taste everything) - this was for 4 guys.The food has GREAT flavor. The portion sizes are as expected (not that big but I think it's because they definitely emphasize quality in the ingredients + I caught truffle oil flavors in there)The ambiance and atmosphere is a mix. They have a covered patio area and they actually have a bar with a couple of chairs and a downstairs as well as upstairs dining room upstairs. You can definitely bring a date here and impress them.The wait staff is well trained and they appeared frequently to bus empty plates and offer more water. And the bill as soon as you want it (they don't hover but we didn't have to look for them)There are only two things I will mention and I don't think it is anything they can do about it. And I only mention these because it will definitely effect if you dine here with guests who have specific needs:The washrooms are upstairs (there are two individual washrooms) so a line can sometimes form...AND NOTE the washrooms are upstairs (there is no elevator) and the stairs are quite narrow and have a turn in them.Will definitely return. And recommend everyone I know who like pasta and italianYou should try and make a reservation before coming (even on a week night)

The food was delicious! The mozzarella is fresh and the pizza is delicious. It’s a good meal to have during the summer, refreshing and flavourful. The ladies who helped us were lovely and all the staff were friendly.The food also came with some delicious bread (attached). A bit pricy for the food (around 50 for two people) but the quality made up for it. The atmosphere is quite inviting but a little too dark for my taste. Really enjoyed the food overall, definitely would come here again for a summer lunch!

Il Postino is one the better restaurants on Main St Unionville. Their service and food are great. Atmosphere in the patio area is nice, but the parking space behind the restaurant is a bit filthy.Their Rucola Salad (baby arugula, apples, candied pecans, ricotta salata, balsamico) and Orecchiette Sausage & Rapini are good.

Really good 2-story Italian restaurant in Unionville with attentive service. I went there on a Saturday night and it was packed, but luckily still had a small table near the bar. It is recommended to make reservations. The waiter took time to explain specials and menu recommendations. Adequate sized portions are served for pizzas and pastas.

We ordered the margharita pizza and pappardelle mushroom. Pasta was incredibly good, pizza had a great crust but could use more salt or sauce. Outdoor patio looks much more happening than indoors. Upstairs indoors wasn’t a great seating place.

Delicious food, friendly staff, cozy ambiance. I had the seafood linguine, excellently prepared on high quality ingredients. Especially the large scallops that is hard to find in the same dish of many other restaurants.Tiramisu was marvelous too.Parking is behind the building.

Definitely the best restaurant for a fine dining experience in Markham. Impeccable attention in a cozy restaurant. Thank you to Chef Jake for fixing a vegan pasta dish and for the kind hospitality. and also to Justin for the attention to service.

Came here with a couple of friends and we ordered a pizza salad and pasta and all of them were quite delicious. Cute spot would definitely recommend and definitely come back

I love this place! They have a nice little patio, and they're located in main street Unionville, which is filled with small shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, and boutiques you can visit either before or after your meal.All of the food I've had here so far was delicious. All of the salads are tasty, but my personal favorite would be the Rucola salad.As for mains, the rigatoni vodka is absolutely delectable. The pasta is cooked to a perfect al denté and the sauce is worth dreaming about.Service has always been great as well. My server made a small mistake this time with the salads but quickly fixed it by getting us the salad we originally ordered and allowing us to munch on the salad brought to our table at no extra cost.Will be back, thank you for having me!
