Skyline Hotel & Waterpark

Recently stayed in the Skyline Hotel & Waterpark.I really do like this hotel. The rooms were nice and clean, with an outside room lounge area that felt nice to relax in.We purchased a hotel and water park bundle for 1 night during the week day.All in all it was fine.The reason for a 3 star review is solely based on staff. They were polite and professional but didn't quite understand that our bundle included tickets (wrist bands) that are given to guest that purchased the bundle water package.They were not given to us when we checked in or after we checked out.Our entrance was denied, so we had to return to the front desk yet again. It was unnecessary.Anyways. I do recommend this hotel. Just make sure you get the wrist bands for the waterpark.

How am I leaving a 5 star review for a hotel I didn't stay at? Because I experienced excellent customer service before even setting foot there. Unfortunately I had a personal situation that required me to cancel my trip I was looking forward to, but the supervisor herself was the one to answer the phone so early in the day and assure me they are understanding of the situation and that they will simply refund me. That's true leadership and a quality business for sure. I look forward to staying at skyline in the future and rebooking when the timing is right!

GO ELSEWHERE... Overcharged for 4 bottles of water a day ( only provide on day and taste awful) internet, phone use and bus fee... plus parking fees $26 a day and resort fees 20+... except that the place looks like motel, the parking seem to not be their's, disgusting elevators, beds are sinking very uncomfortable. Customer service is as expected... there are so many hotels near by that are better with the paking fees and better beds. Not worth it for me. Never again will I use these small hotels claiming to be resort....over $225 a night for a nightmare... community microwave doesn't work... carpets stinks, doors and always are thirty, the noise level after midnightis horrible, you can hear people running, and the noise will wake you, it's loud, my kids were telling me the place is nasty... now no electricity and no back up generator, sweating and worsening smell in the heat... Complete darkness all night ... please AVOID this place at all cost. I just want my money back HORRIBLE! 0 STAR! I just wish I went elsewhere... they apologized in so many reviews but do not make changes or give people their money back or other options... this is legalize robbery.

This is a tired old overpriced run-down hotel. Our mini-fridge didn't work and there was blood on the sheets in our room when we arrived. (In fairness, they offered for us to change rooms - I just asked them to bring us some new clean sheets) There were stains on everything. The common courtyard furniture, the furniture in our room, the curtains and the sheets. One of the outlets in our room didn't work and one was falling out of the wall. The room smelled stuffy and old. The clothesline in the shower to hang your wet clothes didn't function. (Kinda important for a waterpark hotel) The only thing this place had going for it was a handful of the staff was polite and the location is decent. It's just far enough off the main drag to be accessible but yet quiet. But in summary - for what we paid, we expected a FAR better situation. I would look someplace else if I were you. We would never return.

The room was fairly clean but outdated and worn out. The drains in the shower and sink were clogged and the toilet didn’t flush.I could hear everything that was happening outside, from people talking to walking. Especially from the room above me. I could hear every single step. The walls are paper thin and the door wasn’t even sealed properly, there was a decent amount of open space between the door and the wall.I Definitely wouldn’t call this a hotel, a motel for sure.And for the price they charge, you could stay at a much nicer hotel that overlooks the falls and not a “courtyard”.Is the location great, yes.Would I stay here again, never.

The hotel is great and the water park as well, make sure to reserve a room in the hotel to get a big discount and bonus for the water park (hotel and water park package) the reason why I am giving 4 stars because there was no bathroom in the loppy. You either must have an immediate access to your room or to the water park to use the bathroom,the room doesn't have safe neither microwave.Other wise all is perfect. I highly recommend it.

If you miss that old-smoky, casino smell, these are the rooms for you! It's a very strong smell when you enter the room, and not one that is smelled in the hallways. Just to improve your stay, there are also loud, clunky AC units in the room! Don't worry about it being 2023, there are no upgraded outlets with usb chargers, nor any easy to access/ free power outlets. If you want to charge more than 1 phone by the bed, you also have to unplug the bedside light.Thinking of getting parking with your package? The on-site hotel parking is limited. You're directed across the street for more parking. If I knew that were the case, I would have opted for the 5 dollar parking across the street, equidistant to the hotel as the off-site, multi level parking. This hotel is located in a good spot, and easily walking distance to all major attractions. Also an on-site restaurant but wasn't willing to try it. Unfortunately, the outdoor basketball pool was out of service.We went with a 2 year old, and although she loved it, I wish there were actual slides (at the beach house) that you could go on with her. The only areas a toddler under 40 inches could enter were the splash pad (warmer water), the pool and 1 mini slide, that quite frankly sent people sliding really far out. The environment is also really loud. You won't be able to hear each other, unless next to each other. Waterpark hours are quite limited most days. Open 12-7, and for a toddler, between meals and naps, you can't really 'spend a day' there.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The worst travel experience that we have ever had! We were given keys to a room that was under construction. Then we were informed that we were getting 2 rooms that we we would need to swap out of the following day. Finally, they found a room to give us that had old food with mold growing on it under and on the side of the mattress. The stand-up lamp flickered and the base was broken in a few pieces. The odor in this place was bleach filled and gross. The online pictures of this hotel are completely deceiving. Do not book this hotel. You will regret it. We cancelled our reservation after all this and stayed at the Embassy Suites overlooking Niagra Falls. The Embassy Suites was a phenomenal, clean luxury hotel. Highly recommended.
