I’m local to Oakville and was looking to grey blending, which meant removing 30+ years of box dye.Valentini Hair Design was recommended to me by a local Guelph resident.The salon is friendly and welcoming - and every client is important to them. Erika Fletcher is THE BEST colour specialist and stylist. The salon vibe is also fantastic, including the friendly and knowledgeable reception/support staff.

Saw all the positive reviews and booked a consultation. Felt a bit unwelcome as soon as I came in for my consultation but dismissed the feeling because the salon seemed nice and I was excited to colour and cut my hair. Had my stylist overpromise and seriously under-deliver. Really wish they had been a bit more cautious about the colour/been more realistic with me about what we could do in one appointment during the consultation. I would have happily gone with a different shade, and worked up to my ideal look over time had I known what the end result was going to be. Very disappointed with how my hair looks. That feeling of being unwelcome also did not go away. At the very least I definitely learned a lesson about listening to my gut instinct.

I have been working along side Derrick and Julio for around 4 years. The salon is directly focused on treating their clients with respect and allowing them to experience the difference. Working beside the two educators has allowed all of us to grow as a stylists and be able to provide our customers with services that transform their look. never met such a disrespectful owner such as derrick rutherford... word cannot express how evil he is, treats staff terribly. I know former employees and know how he would yell at them and think he could treat them like trash. Cannot describe how absolutely despicable he was to his staff... Because he associated with this business I would never go back or recommend this business,

As a new stylist, I have been part of the Valentini team for about 6 months now and right from the start I felt like one of the family. With an amazing atmosphere and team I am proud to be in such a great salon where I can learn and grow as a stylist.

Alicia was fantastic. She was open to my ideas and we worked together to come up with such a beauty of a haircut! Loved every second of my experience there. She kept the length and gave me bangs and has such a warm personality! Wish I could I rate it higher than 5 stars!
