Christiane is an outstanding seamstress! She altered my wedding dress flawlessly. I have very high expectations and consider myself a perfectionist and she blew me away with her work on my dress. She completed my alterations in a short period of time with plenty of time before my wedding (4 weeks). This was great because no bride wants to receive their wedding dress altered only days before their wedding. In addition to her exceptional work she also offered outstanding prices. I’d say comparable but I was quoted $940 for my dress by other seamstress in the same area and Christiane did it for 1/3 of the price. I would definitely recommend Christiane to any bride.

I had a bridesmaid gown altered. It only needed one alteration and it was perfect. My dress looked amazing on the day of the wedding. Christiane was so friendly and the service was wonderful. Would go back again!

Christiane did the alterations for my wedding dress and for my maid of honour’s dress. She did an excellent job. Her attention to detail, and professionalism made my dress perfect for my wedding day. I would recommend her and will be going to her for my future alterations!

Christiane has been very helpful with many alterations over the last year, including repairing the pocket of my winter coat after my dog tore it apart looking for treats, and also doing my wedding dress and the dresses of my bridal party. Her service is excellent and she will always try to accommodate you (one alteration she did with 48h until I was leaving the city!). Her attention to detail is high (she spent 45min marking and pinning every layer of tulle on my wedding dress). I recommend Christiane to everyone !

Given the previous reviews, I was fairly dissatisfied with the quality of the hemming for my skirt. The thread was sewn on unevenly and the material seems pretty crooked in areas. I don’t know if this is a one-off for this shop, but considering it’s specialty is bridal alterations, I was disappointed in the quality.

I was looking for a place in Orleans to get my bridesmaid dress altered and saw the great reviews so gave it a shot ! Very happy with how my dress came out, it fits perfectly, Christiane listened to what I needed and provided professional feedback that ended up being less alterations than I thought I needed! Fast, affordable and friendly service, this will now be my go to spot for alterations !

I cannot say enough good thing about Christiane! She recently did alterations on my wedding gown and did an amazing job. Not only did she take the time to listen to my concerns and fixed them all, she did it all at an incredible price point! My wedding gown fit me like a glove.
