Naval Museum of Quebec
A very well hidden gem in Quebec. Most people would be forgiven for not being aware of the extensive Naval history of Quebec, but it's a fascinating history worth discovery. The museum has some very special and unique pieces including an WWII German enigma machine and authentic Kriegsmarine Officer uniforms. Some fascinating royal Canadian Navy artifacts and pieces as well.

I only had a few minutes to visit as it was about to close but looked like an interesting place. As I love maritime history I would surely return given more time.

I stumbled across this museum as I was strolling around Old Quebec. The highlight of the museum is definitely the staff, who are also part of the NAVY. They are so friendly, passionate and knowledgable about the Naval history of Quebec. I learnt so much from them!

Naval Museum of Quebec
It was an amazing experience, we had a great tour with Willliam, who is very knowledgeable and kind. He shared a lot of background information with us and explained Canada's involvement in the Atlantic Blockade. The exhibition itself is very personal, somehow you feel like you know these sailors, like you've just learned of a lost uncle... I was very impressed and delighted to see it!

Free museum for people who like ships. It was interesting to learn the history of the Canadian Navy.

Pros:-Free entrance.-Very friendly service.-Clean place and they even have confortable seats (that I used ☺) in the middle of the museum.Cons:-Boring-Small museum (about 10 minutes max if you don't read everything).

Didn't have enough time, I'm sure one can learn a lot of the history. The museum was tucked in the corner, took a while to get there walking from Le Petit Quartier.
