My grandmother lives at Aspira and has for a few years. The staff are wonderful and very caring! The meals are delicious (I have been there for a few while visiting) and the place is always very clean. The extracurricular activities such as live events, movies, workout classes, library (it is always well stocked and maintained), etc. are great and keeps the people who live there entertained!

If you have an aging loved one, this is the place to be. The staff at the Peninsula go beyond a basic level of service by treating their residents like family. They welcomed my widowed stepfather with open arms and provided support throughout his stay. They maintain excellent communication with families and are lazer focused on the well being of residents. The facility itself is exceptionally well maintained, clean and modern. I toured many retirement homes in the area, The Peninsula was hands down my #1 choice for professional senior care.

The service this corporation provided to my mother and my family was second to none. The empathy they showed and the attention to detail was astounding. Specifically Bette and the head nurse Amrit went above and beyond for my mother Camie. We will never forget this experience. We are so grateful for the Peninsula and their hard working team of caregivers. We highly recommend. My mother has found her new home and post stroke is recovering in their safe hands!! Thanks Team. My parents are residents and are enjoying all that the Peninsula has to offer. There are numerous activities including daily exercise classes, live music concerts, regular offsite excursions and many other special events. If there is a reason to have a celebration then the wonderful Peninsula staff will organize an appropriate event that is enjoyable for all residents and their guests. The food is excellent with a good variety of choices. All of the staff are warm and welcoming. As a family we are thankful for them and the care that they give.

We helped my mother(from Kelowna) to move in 5 years ago. She settled in very quickly because of the friendly staff, numerous activities, a variety of group outings and two social hours (with live music & dancing opportunities) per week. (Awesome social director!) She has been able to make new friends in a very comfortable situation. She loves her suite. Our family has always been made to feel welcome: with special dining events, joining in on social hours and even a playroom for the great grandchildren. Peninsula offers a very welcoming lobby/ social area as well as numerous activity rooms. Very good value and certainly worth checking out if you are looking for independent living within a caring retirement residence.

My Mother has been a resident of The Peninsula for 5 years. She is now in her 90's and more frail after weathering several health issues. During these trying times The Peninsula has been there for my Mom. She has gone from Independent Status to Some Assistance. She is still mobile with a walker and still enjoys a great quality of life with first-class social activities and a variety of delicious meals and healthy snacks. What is so exceptional is the caring Family atmosphere created by the Management Staff, Dining Room Staff and the Wellness Staff. I do not worry about Mom at The Peninsula. I know she is being well taken care of and I will be informed immediately if any issues arise. And The Peninsula is always a pleasant place to visit!

My in laws live here. Staff is very attentive and cheerful. There are lots of activities and amenities plus the opportunity for limited travel, shopping, and appointments on the company bus". Meals are fantastic and guests like us are made to feel as welcome as if we lived here as well. To rate this poorly shows very unrealistic expectations."

We’ve had an excellent experience with the welcome, care and support we get at The Peninsula for Shirley. Everyone who works at this care home is helpful and knowledgeable. Around every corner, there is a smiling face to assist. Great food and activities. We feel very fortunate that the Peninsula also has physiotherapy available and a full spa salon attached. Everything she could possibly need!

Aspira Peninsula is the best place. My Mom came here as a respite two years ago and decided to call it home. Thomas, the building manager showed her a beautiful suite with a great view and then in two days the suite was ready for her. All the staff in the Peninsula are wonderful. They’re all helpful and friendly, but Thomas stands out from the rest. He is always willing to go above and beyond what is asked of him. He’s always been able to help my Mom with anything she needs done in her suite. She sometimes calls him Dr. Thomas as it seems there’s no problem he can’t solve. The kitchen is run by an experienced head chef and offer a variety of delicious meals in a grand dining room. My Mom loves watching movies in the movie theater and spending time with other residents at the coffee bar. They also have a lounge on every floor and a place to do puzzles which keep the mind refreshed. I would recommend Aspira Peninsula to anyone looking for independent or assisted living. Aspira Peninsula is simply the best place in town.

Staff are caring and cheerful. Meals are mostly good and lots of daily activities and special events. The caregivers deserve special mention- they are a great group. Check out their facebook page Peninsula Retirement for pictures and comments.
