I recently got my transmission rebuilt at this shop and its working great considering the amount of problems it had before. GREAT service! loved the hospitality and stories Bill told. would recommend to anyone.

They fixed my transmission and when I got my vehicle back the gas gauge would not work the check engine light was on and it would not go into 4 wheel drive. When I asked him about these problems they said there was something wrong with my differential and that my fuel pump was defective. I spent $500 at Dan's Auto, who do excellent work to find out they broke the wiring harness and disconnected a vacuum line.

Avoid this place. Period.Review Update: After asking around and talking to people, “word of mouth” states this place is “the worst chop shop in Calgary”. You may take that as “hearsay” if you wish… but from my personal lived experience, I strongly caution and advise you to NEVER bring your vehicle here.I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy. It needs to be shut down.

Normally i do not like to write bad reviews for small businesses but people should stay away from this kind of businesses. I took my 2013 Ford Service van to have the Transmission repaired, we got the Van back a week later, drove 10 mins found Transmission does not shift properly. Brought Van back, they kept the van for nearly 2 months making false promises. Took the van a way from them brought to another shop, they found Calgary Transmission broke Multiple Pins on the ECM also they rebuilt the transmission with wrong parts! not only i had to repair the ECM also had to rebuild transmission all over again. The owner (Jag) was involved on this repair. Super disappointed, businesses like this should be investigated I can only imagine how many customer they steal from.

Just wanted to thank the guys at Calgary Transmission & Auto Repairs for doing a great job on my 2003 GMC Envoy. Ran into some troubles with my transmission back in November of 2016 and Jag was really helpful and he answered all my questions when I had first taken my vehicle in to be checked. They gave me a very reasonable price quote (in comparison to other places I had researched) and fixed my car in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this shop if anyone is having troubles with their vehicle. Great customer service, honest and reasonable prices and quality work. Highly Recommended!

Worst repair experience of my life. Yes the oil leak was fixed but it was fixed at a cost of $5000, which I was NOT asked about, then 2 months later I got the car back and fuel was spewing onto the hood, many lights were flashing ion the dash, the brakes were not working properly etc etc. I cannot tell you how bad this company was to us. I went 2 times to pick up the car, both times it had more issue than when I took it in ! the final time I refused to take it back, and had to get another garage to fix it. I have approached BBB, AMVIC and newt a lawyer ! DO NOT USE

Loved the way Jag dealt with me. he really cares about his customers and i also learned more about my car during the 15 minute conversation with him than i did going to all the other shops. Hes very well educated when it comes to his craft. THANK YOU for the service

I went here for a transmission service so new fluid and filter drain the old replace it with new! They didn't do anything! Infact when I picked it up my transmission was leaking they did not change the filter and I had lost half my fluid ! They charged me 209$ I had to listen to the front Shop guys avation and divorce stories.bhe was a complete pig! They ended up doing more damage and I had to repay to get my transmission done ! They should be shut down. Avoid this shop. Let them go under. They are what makes small business have bad reputations. Thanks for ripping off a single mom. I hope you go bankrupt!!!

I don't like to write bad reviews but this was ridiculous. About five weeks ago I had clutch problems on my Jetta. I took it into VW and had a top to bottom inspection done. Everything was tip top shape except my clutch it was going. I took it here to have a clutch replaced. It was the long weekend and they took it in Friday and said it would be ready the following Wednesday at the latest. It took 12 days for them to replace the clutch and it was everything to not having parts to my slave solenoid needing to be replaced to my flywheel needing to be machined. Not to mention the total price was about 500 more than they quoted me on. After I got it back I noticed some bad sounds and difficulties finding gears. I looked at the front end and discovered the front axel hadn't even been properly reinstalled! I had my kids in the car and I do alot of highway driving! Very unsafe. I took it back to them and they said that it wasn't them. They fixed it and sent me on my way. About two days later I started hearing bad noises again so I took it to VW to have it checked out. Turns out my front end was badly damaged from their incompetence and now I have to get a new front axle, and another large sum of money to have it repaired. Not to mention they had my bolts in the tire so tight they warped so now I need a new wheel assembly as well. DO NOT GO TO THESE GUYS! My once great commute car turned into a non-stop disaster because of their poor quality of work! I will be contacting the BBB and have something done because they are taking full advantage of people in trying times. If I could rate less than one start I would.

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Calgary Transmission & Auto Repair & Ten Points used Auto parts sold us a used 140,000Km 2007 Nissan Murano AWD Transmission on September 13, 2022. JAG (Alias name used by owner operator of both these businesses stated by employee) told us he's not a mechanic but the transmission is in perfect running order. We asked JAG if there is a warranty & money back guarantee, he stated its on the receipt give to us after we paid.(Yes) After the installation of the transmission we found that the transmission was no good so phoned JAG &Told him the certificated technician that installed the transmission informed us immediately that transmission was no good. JAG stated yes take back the transmission to the shop & we will refund your money(Sept 16, 2022). Asked Jag if he would come take out the transmission at the install shop so we wouldn't be charged he said he would send someone. (Never happened). On September 27 2022 the install shop took out the transmission. On September 28, 10:37 am we took the bad transmission back to Calgary Transmission & Auto Repair. They took the transmission back but no refund told us to come back Monday October 3 2022 Employee said he would refund us himself if we came on Saturday Oct 1, 2022. On Friday evening at approximately 8pm JAG texted & said they needed to inspect transmissions before returning the money.We went to shop on October 3, 2022 at approximately 10:30 am to get our refund & we were told by employee because of the way we acted there was to be no refund! JAG called later that day & told us the transmission was fried & because we contacted a lawyer no refund.Who is JAG? Not his real name!BUYERS BEWARE !!!!!!!!!Watch for this 2007 Nissan Murano AWD Transmission to be resold!
