Jeff was easy to get in touch with and was very informative. He made everyone of all ages feel comfortable. Overall, our tour of Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove was very enjoyable. 10 out of 10 would recommend to book a tour with him!

This is our first time to Nova Scotia. We (two couples) booked two days of touring with Anchor Tours and were not disappointed. Day one took us to Lunenberg, Mahone Bay and Peggy’s Cove. Jeff was a wealth of information on the drive out from Halifax. He gave us ample time at the sites to tour at our leisure. The second day we headed to the Bay of Fundy coast and visited Hell’s Harbour, a beautiful winery for lunch and Grand Pre. We are very glad that we did not tour these areas on our own as we would have missed out on the history and information provided plus we definitely would have got lost in the fog!

Had a great day and experience with Jeff at Anchor Tours! Jeff gave us lots of great information about the area as we drove. It was nice to have a mix of free time during drop offs and a guide as we drove.Would recommend!

We had an excellent experience with anchor tours. Our guide was very informative and very pleasant with all the members of the tour. The guide was very punctual in regards to picking us up on time and dropping us off on time. I would highly recommend this tour when visiting Halifax. One of the best tours we have ever been on.

I had a really lovely experience with Anchor Tours and our guide/driver Reg was awesome. We travelled fromHalifax to Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove and it was so worth it. Reg gave us lots of interesting facts and was an excellent driver. If you’re looking for a solid tour, this is the one.

Jeff made great use of the time, was interesting learning about Lunnenburg and also something of the Acadian people. The drive to Peggy's Cove was lovely, very scenic. Very clean vehicle and punctual. Good value.

Jeff had excellent communication and was very punctual! He is an absolute wealth of knowledge! While Jeff's historical educational aspect was the highlight for my partner, my less studious personality deeply enjoyed his knowledge when it came to excellent food, shopping and photography destinations on our tour. The undeniable beauty of Nova Scotia is not something to be missed and, dare I say, Anchor Tours is one of the best ways to view it!

I had such a wonderful time with Anchor Tours!Reg was our tour guide and he is fabulous! Reg is very knowledgeable, patient, accommodating, and super friendly.We went on 2 tours with Anchor Tours. One to the North Shore and one to the South Shore. Some guests were late and others had time commitments at the end of the tour, but Reg was able to accommodate everybody without having to rush the tour.I personally enjoyed the North Shore tour more because it was very scenic and gave a lot of history on the French Acadians in Nova Scotia. I liked the picturesque Luckett's Vineyard and their amazing seafood chowder, but I didn't actually enjoy their wine.There was a lot to do in Lunenburg, and unfortunately we weren't able to see everything. The St John's Church in Lunenburg is so beautiful. Definitely recommend seeing! I liked that more than Peggy's Cove, which were on the same tour.Overall, it was a fantastic time! The locations included in the tours were interesting and have a lot of history behind them. Having a knowledgable guide made me have a greater appreciation for the places we visited. There was enough time to see everything so we didn't feel rushed. We also were able to see a lot and learn a lot.
