Olympic Village Eye Care

I never had an eye exam in Vancouver until I came here. I felt a bit nervous, but everyone was very professional and caring. They guide you step by step, offer comprehensive and premium quality eye exams, and they also offer a wide selection of eyewear.I'm giving them 4 stars because their online booking system was a bit strange - I ended up filling the forms 3 times because they were not registered properly and the system had not completed my profile prior to my appointment.

Worst experience of my life! Don’t trust reviews, they might be fake.Dr Chen was rude, the clinic was overbooked, the staff inexperienced and my booking was wrong, after 1hr of wait from my given appointment, I was asked to wait an additional 15min or pay 50$ to cancel appointment.I’m shocked that another reviewer mentioned it and I missed it, Dr Chen got between me and the door in a very confrontational manner when I said I needed to leave after 1hr of waiting. The whole thing was a chaotic flow of people going in and out, staff unsure as to what to do, their main priority was charging me, it was an extremely uncomfortable situation.The place is set up as a transactional clinic, with a high output and low care quality IMHO.IMHO reviews seem to be fake as they are very repetitive and use same wording, this might have been done by a review farm, read the reviews with 1 star, that will give you a better perspective.300+ reviews for a tiny clinic, when much larger and popular clinics have 50 max should give anybody a hint.

Had a very thorough eye exam and determined a problem with my left eye. Dr. Cheryl and the team are very caring and got me an appointment with a specialist as soon as possible to ensure my eye gets better ASAP.

Very comprehensive and knowledgeable! Fast service and nice people! They also have very nice frames to suit any face shape.

Only clinic I visited in Vancouver. Really kind staff. Doctor Chen was really nice and professional and answered my all questions. Detailed eye exam. Highly recommended.

Had an eye exam, was interested in contact lenses.I was told, we could get some trial lenses for you to see which one you like the best, so I said ok (I was told nothing else).I got to try two different brands, small boxes, 5 days or so each.When I went back to the clinic, I was told, you forgot to pay 50$ for the trial kit!? If I knew that from the beginning, I would’ve never asked for them! Who would expect to be charged for something so small at an eye clinic, this was straight out deceiving in how it was conducted, was really disappointed!

The service and people here are awesome, professional and friendly. My son got his first glasses here, a wide range of selection, and the doctor guided us through all the process efficiently and professionally. Really appreciate it.

This is the third time I visited here! The staffs are really patient and nice. Dr. Chen is really nice and very professional and helpful in providing advice and answering my questions regarding taking better care of my eyes. The range of the styles choices is decent enough and trendy. Everything is nicely sanitized before use.

Olympic Eye Care is too notch. My experience from walking in the door to seeing the doctor was nothing but professional. The staff and Doctor Cheryl Chen were friendly supportive and made sure you were well looked after. I recommend Olympic Village Eye care 100%
