Canvas Montreal Reception Loft

We just had our wedding ceremony and reception at Canvas Montreal two weeks ago, and we could have not been more satisfied! Mike, he was fantastic at realizing all of our wishes and working together to create a unique space for our wedding! Carmen, John (the bartender) and the two other staff members that day/night were equally fantastic - keeping us and all of our guests happy throughout the entire evening! We cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, laughter and the way they welcomed us. The space itself is beautiful, I call it a blank canvas. If you are someone who loves to make a space unique and your own, this cozy loft space is Perfect for you! And I should not forget to mention that the food was Delicious! All of our guests were happy to be served hot and tasty meals throughout our reception! We were 100 percent satisfied booking with Canvas for our special day. Not only were booking prices fair, but Mike was incredibly transparent with every single aspect of the space and the services they offer (which many other wedding venues which we researched hide their fees and services - Mike was always 100 percent and on the table). We felt so comfortable with him and his staff that I'm proud to say we would recommend Canvas to anyone as they make you feel comfortable, welcome and at home! Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and fantastic people! 10/10

Me and my wife just got married at Canvas, and we had an absolutely beautiful wedding there. Staff was fantastic, food was excellent and the place is gorgeous. Nothing but positive comments from everyone who attended. And I must say that Mike is a true professional, he was key to making it a special night and just a great guy.Thanks Mike, you're the best and thanks to all the staff.

This is a great reception for a wedding or any other event. Was there a couple weeks ago for an Italian wedding. Manager and staff were perfectionist and took care of every detail. The inside of the of the building is gorgeous. Do not judge the exterior building as they will be renovating the exterior. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.Joseph xx

Had my daughter's wedding this past weekend. Service and staff were courteous, friendly and professional. Unfortunately we had a power failure due to a fire down the street from 6-9pm and during this stressful time Mike and his team were amazing. We managed to have music, foodand candlelight in spite of it all! Would recommend this venue. Keep up the great work Mike!

My husband and I got married at Canvas a year and a half ago and thanks to the dedicated staff, everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious (they were able to impress the Italian side of the family), the set up was breathtaking and they followed all our special requests to a T. We highly recommend Canvas Montreal for your special event and we are even trying to find excuses to host another event there. Thank you so much to Mike and the team, you made our special day that much more enjoyable.

My spouse and I held our wedding reception at Canvas and we could not be any happier with everything from the initial contact with Steven through the event so well managed by Mike. The food was excellent and drew praise from all guests as was the service by management and staff. They also provided suggestions for DJ and for flowers which turned out be excellent as well. Our reception was held with 100 people and this was perfect venue for this size. Being able to bring your own alcohol is also a real benefit as well. Sylvain and I again thank Canvas for making our wedding reception everything we wanted it to be - fun, well served, well fed and providing us with fond memories over the years of our life together!

We held our wedding here in September, and we cannot recommend this venue enough. We held our ceremony and reception here. Mike was readily available for all of our questions any time we needed him in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, helped us source audio equipment, and even queued up music for me to walk down the aisle. He went above and beyond to make our wedding dreams come true!The venue itself is stunning. A mix of rustic and industrial, we felt cozy and comfortable from the first moment we walked in the door. This venue has a lot of character, and it is perfect for someone looking for a unique place to throw an incredible party. Visit this place in person, pictures cannot do it justice. Mike graciously helped us set up the day before, so nothing had to be done the day of our wedding. This was a huge stress relief for my husband and I, as well as our wedding party and family.The food was absolutely incredible. Our guests all raved about their meals, and the service during dinner was impeccable. All of the servers and staff knew my husband and I by name, which made us feel really special. We, as well as our guests, were absolutely doted on by staff throughout the day, which was welcomed after many weeks of wedding planning! They even offered us and all of our guests seconds at dinner since they had some leftovers. You won't get this kind of above and beyond treatment at another venue!Our bartender was also extremely attentive and did an amazing job. He even found my friend's lost necklace at the end of the night and put it aside for her! He paid attention to the small details, even remembering my drink order.All in all, we could not have asked for a better venue or staff to help bring our wedding to life. We cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you to Mike and his entire team for making the happiest day of our lives one that was stress free and fun!
