Not a good experience here at all. At first everything was fine however things went sour quickly. Note that any issues with their equipment on the contract holds the customer liable and they will automatically charge your account as well as call you “incompetent” for calling them for help. It bluntly states on the contract that if their equipment does not work AT ALL - the customer is held accountable. Read that again. We were forced to make service calls for their refrigerator truck by health inspectors as the temperature was in the danger zone on two occasions. Denise said that we were incompetent and was doing us a favour by only charging us almost $700 for this. We are now obligated to pay because it is in their contract which we cannot fight and this has apparently been an issue with multiple customers using their service as stated by Denise that “that’s how it works i’ve done it before and i’ll do it again.” I would have been happy to respond as soon as I could to discuss the issue but she left a rude and rash message to me accusing us of avoiding their emails. Never seen this before with any other company. They were the first company we have ever dealt with where they personally attacked us when payment was not received immediately. Meanwhile it took her about a week or so to actually confirm the reservation to begin with. Talk about hypocritical. We are very busy and backlogged as a company ourselves - we needed time to respond. Buyer beware. There are loads of other freezer truck companies out there.REPLY TO OWNER: we were dealing with health inspectors for a full day and then 4 hours + the next day as a response to the temperature of the fridge truck. We know that a door opening and closing affects the temperature of the fridge but our health inspectors did not. We have 30+ food vendors going in and out at rush hour sometimes back to back - with the tone of your response - we are well aware. We had to take every measure possible to prove that the fridge was in working condition and they were requesting a technician send a written report of the status of the truck which has never been asked of us before. So no this was not due to our “incompetence” which I have now had to clarify twice.The issue at hand is clearly your customer service not the equipment or contract. I am fully aware that the service call has not been paid in full (I assume you charge $142.50 an hour as shown in the invoice for the technician who “sat there to ensure you kept the door closed”.) I got one invoice email and one text message: “...the invoice is not going to go away. I have asked you to call me about it and obviously you are not going to. If you won’t call me or pay, this will be escalating. I am afraid it will have to be you who will be into collections for the invoice. Sorry, but if you were okay with making us do two service calls for your incompetence you should have no problem paying for one of them.”You are not special, I had multiple emails backlogged and could not get to them in a timely fashion after the event. This is absolutely my own fault but come on...what a response. I did not place your email into an “Ignore” folder as you are not the only company we deal with throughout the weekend - I wasn’t hosting a birthday party - so the text came as a surprise to me yes and no I did not receive responses like yours from any other company last month so I’m sure the charge may have been “common practice” but your response i sure hope was not. In terms of the person she spoke with over the phone - I cannot control how they handle the situation nor can I control the customer service/threats you choose to provide either. This individual spoke to the technicians with no profanity. All profanity was directed to Denise. As we can see from her text above, she agrees with handling situations with aggression (as the kids say, 0 to 100). We are sick and tired of people treating customer service like it is rocket science so his response “should have been no surprise to you” either.

I had an amazing experience renting a freezer from Coolmate. The customer service was fantastic and they responded quickly and were very adaptable to our changing needs. They were a absolute pleasure to work with!!
