Mr. Ali Dastjerdi was my contractor and recently completed a successful renovation for me where he renovated the basement unit of my house in Ottawa for occupancy as a secondary unit. He was able to interpret the architectural drawings prepared by an Architect as well as the design / building code requirements stipulated by the City of Ottawa and ensured that the repairs and renovations required were undertaken.He was also routinely present for progress inspections by City officials and offered valuable perspectives on the progress of the contract and how best to achieve the desired solution.Overall - I was satisfied with his delivery and performance.

An excellent service from start to finish for our bathroom renovation and remodelling. We were kept fully informed of the whole project; before work started, while the work was progressing and at end of each day. The team really care about their work and are keen to provide solutions should they arise. All trades were project managed efficiently and delivered to a very high standard.

I am very pleased with the results of our basement finishing, It has been done by Ottawa Home Contractors, which included building a new bathroom in the basement and new bedroom. The crews were very nice and polite. The project manager came by almost every day to monitor progress and keep us posted on what's been done and the next steps.

Retained Ali for finishing our basement and the addition of a bathroom and stand up shower, which involved an extensive plumbing and electrical work given that we had no rough-in for the toilet, we had to move the hot tank water and move the washer/dryer. Ali was the most professional contractor that quoted us, he clearly explained all the steps needed and his quote was very thorough and the payment milestones clearly outlined. From the first contact until the job was completed, he was responsive, easy to communicate with and very professional. The job was completed on time and on budget and we are very happy with the result. We will definitely consider him for any renovation we may have in the future.
