TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

Entered my pin, listed all my accounts and credit products for authentication purposes, gave two pieces of ID, was told they don’t match the system, was quizzed about my address and other personal information, was send an authentication code by text that I verbally confirmed, then the teller had to speak to a manager just to collect Euro that had been ordered online and had already paid for. Critical/Lateral thinking are severely lacking and wasting time for the clients. 25 minute long transaction.

The most unpleasant experience I've ever had with TD occurred in this branch on Avenue Greene, Westmount. Looks like even the manager doesn't know how things work, forget about the TD rep at the entrance... they say one thing, but do things in a completely different way. Lack of knowledge and professionalism, how could this happen in a big financial institution like TD on Westmount...

This TD bank is one of the most quiet TD banks that I've visited. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. If there's a line, probably around 3 to 7 people.Pros:1. Near Westmount Square and this mall also leads you to Metro Atwater Station Green line.2. Not so busy location.3. Free water refill. Not sure about the tea but I believe it is also free.4. It is open for long hours within the day. Some banks closes around 4pm. This bank somestimes close around 8pm.5. ATM machine is actually located inside the bank. Some TD's have their ATM machine before their main door. I feel more safe here when doing some ATM transactions.

I was at this branch lately and service was just amazing. I didn't make any appointment and just stop by to open my first card.There was lady on main desk who helped me with everything.Natalie was super nice and helpful and she opened card for me in less than 30 min.I definitely recommend this branch of TD, great experience.

Its my branch since 2010. Friendly, very polite staff. Always welcoming. I am glad I am with TD. Only little issue is the long lineups in the afternoon to see a teller but i see some improvement.

There is a complete lack of common sense and service at this branch. I have been doing corporate deposits at this branch for years and never have I encountered such trouble with accomplishing simple banking tasks as recently. I’ve also noticed other clients having difficulty with the tellers. The manager won’t listen and rushes through very long winded explanations as to why she can’t help, and then refers clients to the customer service phone number. I actually saw this happen again while standing in line today. This is a classic example of the manager not in control and the tellers left to deal with irate client one after the other. I feel bad for them. Embarrassing.Don’t believe just one review? Look at all the recent ones for this branch.

I was asking the assistance for my school payment, and Farah ( the cashier), she was doing such an incredible job. She helped me to understand different payment method and carefully advise with her manager to solve my problem. Although i could not paid my fee at the first time, she still trying to found patiently the best way- cheapest method for me. With her enthusiam, professional and special friendly attitude, Farah definitely raise the TD reputation. Nothing to say more, such an great experience and hope all the staff here, also the manager can keep up the pace like this.

Encountered complete incompetence today TD Greene Avenue in Westmount when I tried to exchange Scottish pounds. The teller and whoever else she spoke to said that Scottish pounds were not in their system so did not process the exchange! When I got home it took me 2 minutes on the TD website to find that indeed they do exchange Scottish currency! As well the young woman was not pleasant or helpful.

I had written a review some time ago and I have no choice but to write another one today.Once again, it is a BIG ZERO! They have no clue what they are saying or doing. Banking should be about trust, well it is not here that you will find it.They claim that Canadian banks have no routing numbers. Fortunately, I went to another bank where I got the proper information.The situation gets worse and worse every time I visit this branch. No wonder I took my investments somewhere else!Please, hire qualified people and improve your customer service ASAP! Otherwise, you will lose your clients!
