Horrible windows, indefinitely not built for Alberta weather. Recently bought a home that hosts PlyGem windows and doors; I couldn’t be more disappointed. I’ve owned many homes and not once have I seen such an issue!! Horrid condensation build up on the windows to the point I’m running around daily chipping ice and cleaning up water as soon as it’s below -5 Celsius. To top it off, I’m completely unable to see out of them. My doors have frozen on numerous occasions, to the point my locks and peep hole are frozen and dripping with condensation. I’ve tried contacting this company several times throughout the past two winters with no response. Do not buy these windows, you will regret it.This is not an unknown issue, I have talked to several neighbours on my street experiencing the same inconvenience with PlyGem products over the past several years. I regret buying this home due to such a headache the windows and doors have caused.To clarify further, I leave my house at 20 Celsius during the day & 18 Celsius at night, while leaving all my blinds up. I also have a dehumidifier running 24/7 with persistent issues. I’ve had an inspector come in and state the quality of the windows is extremely poor and should be replaced to avoid further issues.Save yourself some money and go with ANY other supplier.

I have Ply Gem windows and I am very unhappy with them. I set my thermostat to 18 C overnight. When the outside temperature is -3 & lower my windows steam up. This morning @ -17, I have ice on the inside of the glass on at least 3 windows and condensation on others, even the ones where I left the blinds open. Yes, my humidifier is set very low. These windows are not made for Albert weather. It would not recommend this company for their windows. My bedroom window freezes shut. Scarey in case of a fire.
