I brought in my PC for a check up after accidentally spilling some water on my motherboard and PCI-e cable . Paid $70 for them to tell me exactly what I already knew. They told me the MB and the PCI-e cable both have corrosion and the GPU is completely totalled. I wanted them to do a full system diagnostic but they couldn't because in their own words we do not have the right cables" They said the PC is totalled. I have only replaced the MB and the PCI-e cable and the PC works just fine and so does the GPU!!! These guys lack professionalism. They don't even seem to be have any enthusiasm to answer any questions you have about the service or their products. Lesson from the story is to fix it yourself than to let these "professionals" look at your PC. Absolute joke as a tech service."

My son has been waiting for his gift card (or returned broken product) from geek squad for over a month. They put in the wrong email address from the application, and that’s just the start. I sent in the claim and realized the email was wrong, fixed it. Called a second time wondering where the product or gift card was. Found out they were sending him a gift card because the product was in fact broken, to find out the email was wrong AGAIN. Had to open ANOTHER CLAIM! Was told 3 business days it will be sent to his email address. Called AGAIN to find out it would be 7-10 business days.. not 3 business days because of the new claim. My son has been without the product for over a month. Paying for a service I’m not provided in a proficient time frame is unsatisfactory. I do understand the new claim issue and the company needing more time. But when it’s due to incompetency of employees entering an email address incorrectly, I shouldn’t have to wait over a month.

Horrible customer service… took my phone in to get fixed and they said it would be done In 2-3weeks. It’s now month 3 and they JUST sent my phone back and it came back in the original package I sent it off in and still not fixed… oh yea side note, they took $250 out of my account to fix the phone and they never even looked at it after 3months… HORRIBLE SERVICE

When I signed up I did not think I would be paying for almost 5 years at $200 a year for nothing. I did the initial setup and then moved twice (across the country) had a few life events and forgot all about the small monthly payment. Was easy to discontinue the payment. Nice people to deal with all the way around so far.
