Tickets were pricey for what you actually get to see. My spouse and I went on Thursday and it just seemed very rundown. We were so excited to finally go, I bought tickets in advance because 2 years ago we wanted to go and it was sold out for days at a time. Very few animals, one exhibit was just raccoons. Staff were somewhat knowledgeable.

You really only need 30 minutes to do the entire thing but it is neat to see the different animals. Wish there were more signs indicating the animal you are looking at though, would've loved to know the species. Other than that, a neat spot to go, and I'm sure it is great for kids especially.

Visited Biodome in summer. Ticketing is quick and smooth but since they are famous for school visit it is recommended to buy in advance via web or ticket machine in the receptionist area to avoid queue. Visit to 5 areas available will probably last you 1hour top.Special price available for student or under 17yo.

Amazing experience. A bit short but overall lovely. Would highly recommend to purchase tickets in advance if you don't want to wait 2-3 hours in line.

Very impressive building with 4 completely different biomes for the animals. However, one can easily see everything within one hour and many of the enclosures seem a bit small for the animals. For example the lynx and the raccoon were always walking on a fixed route around their enclosures which did not seem natural or healthy. Similar behaviour could be seen with the penguins.I expected more for the 23 CAD entry fee. Kids will have fun there though.

Great place to visit with or without kids. It's usually a pretty busy place, so prepare for that. We went during the week in the daytime. Would recommend using public transportation. We loved it!

This is a must visit for anyone in the MTL area. If you have kids or you are interested in, animals, plants, and the earth in general you should visit.Took our toddler here and he absolutely loved seeing all the animals. We did the biodome experience only but there are numerous things to see and do there. It does get expensive if you want to do the various sections but doing one thing at a time is very manageable

Especially good if you're with kids or high. As an adult it doesn't take long to go through (about 1-2 hours max) and hence becomes not so worth it. Guides along the way point out information which is cool. Definitely look up the schedule in advance and buy tickets in advance so you're able to enter at the time slot you desire - they limit it so it doesn't get too overcrowded. Construction June 2023 makes it hard to get to the entrance

Where the garden has an abundance of plants, the Biodôme has a plethora of animals (and plants)! So much fun especially for children, but even as an adult: getting to see a river otter + a penguin + a tropical capybara all under one roof (and right after one another) was nothing short of amazing. Lots of stuff to learn, tons of cool animals and well-designed exhibits/environments to house them all. Definitely worth 1.5-2h, but not as long as the garden (imo) just due to the total length of trail. Download the app beforehand to get info on educational talks at certain exhibits, as well as PENGUIN FEEDING TIME which is as adorable as you’re imagining. I’d highly recommend for the whole family or any subdivision thereof

This is a fantastic science museum, with or without kids. I went with my family with kids 10 and 8 and everyone really enjoyed the experience. There are several different biomes to explore, each with their own unique animals to see. In most instances, you can see them up close. The facilities are clean and appear to be well maintained, and though some areas are more popular than others, with more people crowded around, I always felt that there was sufficient space to move around and get a decent view. You're given a pamphlet to help you navigate through the different biomes, or you can also download the app if you'd prefer to go paperless. There are a few activities and videos to watch, which are pretty interesting, but not many. Bathrooms were clean and accessible.Great place for a half day!
