Devalued my car and told me to buy a “Toyota Corolla “ cause it is more reliable. After a second visit to double check their work to another garage, it seems like they “by accident” disconnected some sensors to show some major issues (everything is fine). Dishonest people will not return and don’t recommend at all.

Really bad experience there, they tried to take advantage. It was the nearest garage to stop by when I had a cooling issue with my Cadillac STS about a year ago. The boss told me that for sure I should leave my car there cause that was it for the vehicle. However I decided to get the car back to my island (gulf islands) and check with different mechanics that I know. They all certified that this boss from Starr automotive bullied me. They also disconnected some sensors through the car computer showing that the car was done. I am still driving the car with no issue since that. I am not recommending this garage for sure.

Excellent service. Accurate quote on cost. Took the time to explain to me the exact issues and gave me options. I had been to three other mechanics, and none of them were able to find what was causing the clunk rattle clunk. Coming from under the vehicle these guys solve the problem highly highly recommend.

What can I say about Starr Automotive! Steve, Brad and the crew are great. I’ve known Steve for almost 30 yrs now. I refuse to go anywhere else! If you want honesty, a job done right and only fixing what needs fixing, then this is the place to go. My twin daughters are now dedicated customers of Steve as well and know very well that they are not getting messed around or anything like.

Took my older ranger there. Had looked on the web and talked to a few people that know this truck. They suggested the O2 sensor as the culprit. I passed the info on to Start. Big mouth boss basically yells that I shouldn't listen to my dumb friends. When I asked why 3 out or 6 plugs were burning out, he told me the truck was old. Is that an answer? Nope. This guy running the shop is condescending to the max. The owner of the building and shop is also a complete hot head. Take your vehicle to a shop that doesn't resent your patronage. This place has been going dramatically down hill for a number of years.

Have always had great experiences with this shop, definitely a go to first choice shop for me. Brad was very helpful but most importantly extremely honest and not out to rip anyone off by any means, just do an honest days work, which is why I will be sure to come back for any future needs.
