Smuggler Cove Marine Provincial Park
Beautiful easy hike with lots to see. There are wooden boardwalks at the beginning where you’ll see wetlands and a bog, various birds, ferns, and moss. Eventually you’ll reach some rocks and the shoreline.The hours on Google are weird - it shows 8-430 Monday-Friday and closed on weekends, although it’s technically open as it’s not gated off or anything.

Fantastic hike, took about 2hrs slowly. Several of the islands aren't accessible by foot until the tide is out, super neat. Nice long board walks through the swamp area where we saw garder snakes, ducks, birds, a bald eagle bathing. They have posted info signs about the wildlife you will see there. Highly recommend for the nature lovers, wear good shoes.

A beautiful trek that takes one through dense forest, steep rocks, and scenic ocean views! The trail is not toddler friendly, but can be easily done by a 5 years old. The entire trail takes about an hour by leisurely walk. Plan your lunch though because the closest restaurant is about 20 min away.

This was such a sweet little area to sit and soak in the beauty of the Sunshine Coast. It was also interesting to read the history on the sign there. From booze to people this secret little area has a heck of a history ! It might be a romantic place for a picnic too!

What a beautiful area to hike and explore! We spent a total of 2 and a half hrs here because it's easy to explore and take in all the different views.

Smuggler Cove Marine Provincial Park
Great walk/hike in. Short but with wonderful rewards for hikers, birders and those that enjoy varying ecosystems. Benches along the way for bird watching/relaxing and a picnic-perfect flat rock area to enjoy the scenic cove & a snack. A must stop if you have a couple hrs to explore.

Great hike, nice variety of views.Lacked a decent swimming spot. A lot of barnacles, mussels and oysters make the shores not super nice to have an impromptu swim. There is one only spot that was seemingly popular for swimming but it got very crowded, understandably so.Bring some kind of foot protection if you intend to swim there for the first few feet entering the water.

Such an incredible place. Either the trails or coming in on boat. Beautiful scenery, calm water and many places to tie up your boat. Highly recommend. Secret Cove just around the corner if you need fuel or snacks!

Beautiful ancient fishing grounds that has been conveniently turned into a park for all to enjoy. We'll just get our fish the old fashioned way instead, battered from a box in the freezer.
