Very insightful information made available for anyone interested in stopping to learn a bit about our history. It would be valuable to provide perspective from others involved in the war and specifically the battle at the Thames. The area is a nice rest stop for anyone that needs a break from the long curvy roads of Longwoods. Overlooking the Thames River, there are may picnic tables to setup and eat some lunch on your way. I didn't notice any washroom facilities but you are a quick drive from thamesville with plenty of places to find a washroom. This stop I wouldn't expect to be a major tourist attraction but it is a pleasant piece of heritage to experience.

The place is well maintained and the historical information has been very well depicted. I'm a fan of walking the battlefields and you get a very good sense of the terrain and what the warriors on both sides would have to contend with.

I didn't know anything about natives and there role in the war of 1812 but this little roadside park had lots of information if it's on your way to somewhere and are passing this park its worth the stop. Figure on 30 to 40 min to walk the park and read all the plaques. Bring a lunch and have a picnic the park is right on the edge of the Thames river with nice views and green space.

Great step back into history to learn how Tecumseh played an important role during the First World War.
