I live in East York and have ordered parts over the years to fix our washers and dryers as needed. Ordering parts pay over the phone and or when part is delivered to door next day. Prices and parts hard to beat. TK.

Buyer Beware!!I got a part from Norm for my refrigerator , it was backwards and didn't fit right. The part he gave me was not the original (OEM) from the manufacturer , but he said it was. He did refund my money but I wasted a whole day trying to figure out why it didn't fit right.I went to another parts store and got the right part. Now it works great.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. With his help I managed to repair a dryer and a washer for less than $100. Honest business ran by an honest man. Keep up the good work.

I've dealt with a few places/people over the years but this person over the phone was arrogant. Maybe there are better staff there, so feel free to give this place a try. I called in for a thermal fuse and tried to explain the difference between amperage and temperature but this individual claimed his 25 yrs of experience was better than the Samsung service manual. All I wanted to do was verify the part specs from Samsung and when asking for confirmation of the specs for the part he became agitated and then I asked for the price he said he already closed the webpage and hung up. I'm sorry but you can keep your 25 yrs of ignorance and your terrible attitude. Just because you have been in the business for that long does not mean you know everything. I doubt that this customer service person will respond to constructive criticism well, so this is more of a heads up to other people. Try and deal with a place that treats their potential customers better.In Response to Universal's reply: Just goes to show how you were not listening. I did not say I had found a higher rated fuse online, I said the ones online are rated at 20A. The one in the Samsung service manual states 25A. All I wanted to verify was that I was not getting the underrated fuse which explains why the fuses I have ordered in the past online keep on tripping. You kept on insisting that if I were to use a fuse rated for a higher temp it would cause a fire and you are correct but I was not asking for a higher rated temp just the correct rated amperage. Not sure how much clearer I could have spelled it out. Both fuses are rated at 160C one has a lower amperage rating and the Samsung authorized part which I was calling into confirm with you should be rated at the correct amp (25A). Again the temp rating of both fuses are 160C that will not cause a fire. Asking for the correct AMP rating does not mean it will trip at a higher temp or that I was asking for a higher rated temperature. I understand you can only sell what you are being shown in your system but I just needed to verify the AMP rating.

I have called on universal appliance parts several times for critical parts that could not be found anywhere or that anyone was willing to sell to me. The first example was for the dogs that lock the agitator on a washing machine. After calling Norm he understood that these cheap parts would cost 10 times on shipping than their value and that my washing machine would not work without them. He asked me to leave 2.30$ in my mailbox and sure enough he dropped them off the next day packaged with a receipt even. The latest example was this week whereby my mothers German washing machine would not stop filling due to a broken water inlet valve, she lives on the top floor of an apt building so preventing a flood was a huge concern. After searching anywhere and everywhere with possibly curbside pickup or even amazon for next day delivery I found their was no stock of this part anywhere within reason. I should have just called Norm in the first place. Norm said he could get me the part and just wanted to ensure that I knew what I was doing since I am not in the trade. Long story short, he dropped it off at my home the next morning, sealed factory Bosch part. He could have taken advantage of my predicament and charged me any premium he wanted and I would have paid but it’s not in him. I have seen poor reviews for universal and can only assume you are wasting time, don’t ask for tech help or use his time for comparison shopping. Now I have properly saved universal in my contact information so I will only have to call on him.

AAA rating for their customers service. I call before they were open & they called back when they were open. To find out how they can help. I was looking for a part on the holiday weekend. No one else was open & they were able to locate the part for me awesome.

I was looking for a lid switch replacement for my Kenmore washing machine and was able to find it here. Excellent service! I will return in the future if I need anything else.

Just called them to ask a general question. Guy on the phone was incredibly rude. Definitely will not consider ever buying something from them. Wow.

Called me back exactly when he said he would, and delivered the part right to my door for free, for half the price of another quote I got.The people rating one star don't seem to understand that not everybody is there to hold their hand - if you want an on-call repair guy, you'll pay a lot more.5/5, will absolutely call the next time an appliance breaks.

My main circuit board for fridge decided to give out on a Sunday. They looked up part and ordered for me, was delivered early next day. Was happy with price around $100. Better than spending $2500 on new fridge.
